Brabantia 'Sort & Go' Waste Bin, Mint, 12 litre

We use the 12L bin as a compost caddy, i.e. to temporarily store compostable kitchen waste before taking out to the garden. We found the usual size of compost caddy a bit on the small size as we eat a lot of fruit and veg and also make fresh juices. We were worried that the 12L bin might be a little on the large size for this but you don't HAVE to fill it right to the top and even if you do it's not too heavy and the handle is more than up to the task of carrying it out. Worries unfounded, the size is perfect. The bin is made of a quality plastic with a matt/satin finish and looks very nice in the pastel blue colour. The lid easily lilfts completely off and the Brabantia 12L liners fit perfectly inside (a few of these are included with the bin). There is an option to mount it on the wall with the included bracket. This looks very sturdy and functional, but I can't comment fully as we had nowhere suitable to mount it so it just sits on the floor where the last caddy once sat. In short, very happy with the purchase and glad we chose Brabantia.

Es el tercero que compro, el tamaño me viene fenomenal para poder reciclar ya que no tengo mucho espacio en la cocina, aparte de no parecer el típico cubo de basura, los colores y la calidad me parecen estupendos. Lo recomiendo sobre todo para aquellos que como yo tienen problemas de espacio, ya que ademas hay varios tamaños a elegir. Práctico y cómodo, viene con soporte para colgarlo en la puerta, aunque yo no lo he utilizado es un extra. Ahh y venían con dos o tres bolsas de basura para probar.

生ゴミ用にブルー系の色を購入。16リットルはちょうど使いやすいです。この色合いがめちゃめちゃ気に入りました！ 蓋はどうなっているのか、わからないまま、購入しましたが、プッシュロックでもなく、普通に手で開け閉めするタイプです。パッキンもついてないので、匂い封じできているのかは、わかりません。 10年使えると書いてありますが、10年製品保証というわけではありませんので、ご注意を。 ちなみに、ダンナは、開け閉めが面倒だとか、蓋がゆるいと文句言っています。

I love these bins, at last I've found the perfect bin. There's no mechanical bits on it to get broken or food stuck in it. The lid hides the Perfect fit bags ( which are a bit pricey). They are really neat and compact, but fit alot in. I have bought these bins in all sizes for both waste and recycling. They have a useful handle to carry it if needed. Somebody has really thought about this when designing it. I hope they start making them in more colours. I know it's a little sad to say, but I love my bin 😊
