Replacements for a couple of chargers that a hail storm took out. Easy to install, quality product from Arlo. Takes about 4-6 hours in full sun to charge completely. Will absolutely order again the next time hail takes them out.

bought this product in June 2023, its now September 2023 and the product stopped working. From June til now this product was A++++ never had issue, very easy to install and keep my Arlo camera charged. After 2 months now it stopped charging my camera and now i am pass my return/replace window. If there is anything that can be done about replacing the product would be great. Overall the product was great.

Per the instructions, I connected the solar panel to the camera with a fully charged battery installed. The real test came with the remnants of Hurrican Ian. In Virginia, we had six consecutive days of 100% overcast conditions with rain. On average, the camera turned on 4-5 times per day including at least once every night that turned on the light. With no sun to charge the battery, after six days, the battery was at 81%. When the sun returned, by the end of the day, the battery was once again at 100%. I would recommend this solar panel that will now save me from climbing a ladder and swapping the battery every 2-3 months. I'll probably buy a couple more for the other cameras that have a southern exposure.

It does charge your Arlo Pro 3. It has to have direct sun. Shade wont do it! I had to exchange one because the charging cord was finicky. Also read that several had problems with the cord. Now the one I have now seems to have No issues and is working quit well. * It has to have direct sun* The only negative I have is the mounting! Mine is drilled and anchored into my mortar between the bricks. The screw that fastens to the solar panel is queer. The tightening piece on the mount is also queer. What I mean by this is you can tighten it as best you can but it is still loose. The ball joint in the mount allows it to pivot in different directions for you whether you chose for the panel to hang straight up and down or sideways, it’s finicky and has issues staying tight! Tighten the best you can and walk away. I’m sure strong winds will end up turning or even loosening the tightening screw. If you have one, this makes perfect sense because it’s just how it’s made. Reinforcement needs to be taken back to the drawing board and a better idea needs to be placed!

Failed after 6 months on a Go with minimal usage. Never quite kept up either, battery never got a full charge all summer and slowly dwindled to nothing.

This solar charger was just what I needed to not have to change the camera battery every month.

I have one Arlo camera that is in an hard to reach place and another in a high-traffic area that runs out of battery frequently. Even with XL batteries, the camera looking at my driveway will often die after just a few weeks or less. So I bought two solar panels and installed them a few weeks ago. They are integrated directly into the app. So you see when sun is hitting the panel (see icons in green on the photo) and whether it’s changing. If the camera hits 100%, charging stops. My driveway camera was at 52% when I added the solar panel. It’s now hovering around 100% after less than a week. So even with all the activity it’s more than enough energy to keep the camera charged. And this is a solar panel on the north side of the house so I have to be tricky to aim it for maximum sun. The other camera is on an east side, so plenty of sun. If it’s not clear, you still need a battery in the camera for it to work. I’m not considering a third for another high traffic area. I can’t speak to longevity, but if that changes, I will update. I am very happy so far, to the point of getting nerdy and texting friend about how well it charged the two cameras.

Néanmoins il est nécessaire de charger complètement la caméra car le panneau solaire ne suffit pas en lui même pour la charger complètement. Je suis satisfaite de mon achat car j’en avais marre de devoir recharger aléatoirement ma caméra qui selon la météo, les mouvements captés pouvait se décharger en quelques jours à peine. Piccolo, originale, black è anche elegante da vedere. Funziona perfettamente, facilissimo da installare al muro, arriva corredato delle sue viti per l’installazione. L’accessorio non serve per ricaricare la cam Arlo, ma per mantenere la carica. Io l’ho collegato con la cam completamente carica, ed a distanza di tempo risulta perfettamente carica al 100%. Consigliato vivamente per chi possiede le cam arlo. Inutile gironzolare su prodotti paralleli…ne ho presi due compatibili prima di questo e sono durati praticamente niente! L’originale Arlo si percepisce già la qualità del prodotto al tatto. Ed il magnete del connettore si aggancia alla perfezione alla cam. Cavo abbastanza lungo per facilitare l’installazione. Pienamente soddisfatto.

Fungerar riktigt bra. Fullt kompatibel med min arlo pro 3 kamera. Håller den vid liv även vid inte helt optimala ljusförhållanden. Enda som den kunde ha är något längre kabel. Men det är för att jag hade velat ha den ganska långt från kameran för att få optimal mängd sol.

Next to useless. “Charges” our Arlo 4K Ultra security camera which runs flat after 3 days without it, not the advertised 3-6 months. With the solar panel make that 5 days. This is with the camera in “Optimized” setting.
