If I want to spray model aircraft with this, as suggested in the photo, what paints should I use as it says not to use acrylic?

I used Acrylic in it fine. It was the older enamel that finally killed mine. The main issue with this kit is they state cant use a double action airbrush and then supply one. With using the double action the compressor cant cope. The airbrush is fine on another setup but these two together packaged like this are not compatible

I would think you can , I use it more on wood no reason why not
