This is the second mirror dash cam I have purchased. Loved the first one so much I bought one for my other car as well! A dash cam is a must have for protecting yourself on the road for proving fault in the case of an accident or getting license plate information in the event of a hit and run. I also love the parking feature because I have the comfort of knowing that if someone backs into me in a parking lot and flees I will have video evidence of it happening. My favorite feature by far though has to be the live streaming of the rear camera. With this enabled you can see everything happening behind you as well as the entirety of your blind spots with just a simple glance up at your mirror. I run the dash cam in this mode all the time and it makes driving so much more relaxing not having to look all around you constantly. The security of having a dash cam is something that everyone should feel and this dash cam goes so far beyond just that with features that I cannot recommend it enough!

I've owned Touguard dashcam for 3 years now and have been quiet impressed. For the same dollar value now I ordered this 2.5 K dashcam 1080p rear cam w/ GPS. I can honestly say I'm impressed with the level of details that goes into the video and photo especially when you need to capture license plates of moving vehicles. The installation was straight forward as before, took less than 1 hour in total. Took it for a test drive, reviewed the footage on my PC and the resolution is amazing. The dash cam alone can give you 4 k but loses some power when combined with the 1080p and drops to 2.5 K which is fine as long as it does what it's supposed to do. Of course you get lots of fun perks like G sensor, GPS, Overall great purchase for the dollar value. Would strongly recommend it for anyone's vehicle that doesn't come equipped with front and rear cam.

Test to make sure the camera works before cable managing, I learned the hard way. Touch screen stopped responding after a hot minute. Screen was also registering phantom touches. The cable management clips do not adhere to anything at all.

I set it up only to have it work for a week then the touch screen stopped working. Then it started switching screens in the middle of me driving and now it won’t change screens at all.

The camera mounts on the rear view mirror, so I was concerned with vibration and shaking. Playback of the video on the computer had no probems with vibration or shaking. The timestamp is clear on the bottom left corner. The device acts as a larger rear view mirror when the screen is turned off. Touch screen has an intuitive menu with everything plugging into the top - power source, rear video, and GPS module. I'm able to read the license plate of the car ahead of me and behind me. I left 1 letter on the license plate revealed so the image can be evaluated for reading license plates, assuming amazon doesn't lower the quality of the image.

I purchased this dash cam for one of my cars and its great! It has a super wide view and has tons of features. You're able to use a single memory card and when its full it loops back and deletes the oldest footage. The voice controls are pretty handy too if you want to use it while driving like "turning on screen". Installation is a breeze and easily connects to the auxiliary outlet of your car. Just plug it in and play!

Mine is good except it shuts off every once in a while and I don't know why ?Might be something in the settings .

Bought couple of month ago didn't get chance to install right away and now warranty has over. Rearview camera is not working at all not sure require some special setting or not but camera is completely dead even installed as per instruction. If anyone know which camera is compatible with the unit please let me know.

The mirror shows you reach the red line at reverse while you are more than a meter away from the object behind you ,,

Everything as advertised is true. Video quality is great with wide angle which is perfect for my vehicle. Just be aware that this unit is a bit heavy compared to others. Make sure that your oem rear view mirror can support its weight, otherwise it will keep on shaking.
