I had been following the Timebirds timer from the Rogue website for months but didn't care to pay $120 for it. I saw this timer advertised from a social media account of a gym owner here locally in Utah and decided to give it a try.I'm a crossfitter and do most of my workouts at home with some visits sprinkled in at the local box where I do my own thing off to the side of class. The timer is phenomenal for setting up anywhere your heart desires. I stick it on the rig at the gym or on my whiteboard at home in the garage.The case seems to protect the timer well and doesn't diminish the strength of the magnetic backing, so you can stick it to anything metal even while the case is on. The timer has several timer options as listed in the product description so you can always find something to fit your specific workout.I have used this timer almost every day now for a couple of months and have had zero issues. The battery seems to last me through two gym sessions, so I just charge it each night and have no battery issues. Overall a great product. I tell my friends about it all the time.

didnt take long for battery life to get shorter and eventually just died and cant even be charged

I absolutely never review a product. This timer I liked when I first got it. I used it a few times per week. For my use the battery lasted a few weeks. When the timer showed Low battery I recharged it per the instructions. When I went to use it again it showed Low battery within 10 seconds. I thought perhaps I recharged it incorrectly so I again charged it per the instructions. I went to use it again and to my disappointment within 10 seconds it showed Low battery. At this point I was beyond the Amazon 30 day return policy. I contacted the seller but received no response. I contacted Amazon and while waiting for them to resolve it I actually purchased a second one of these to use. The second one I charged immediately upon receiving. When I went to use it it shut off within a minute. This time I returned it immediately while under the 30 day return. Meanwhile Amazon resolved the first one I purchased by having me return it for a refund minus a 20% restocking fee. Save your money and try another brand!!

I'm frustrated at the gym, where timing my intervals has not been easy. I found this Countdown clock while browsing and decided to give it  a shot. I was not disappointed, this gym timer has worked perfectly. First off, the screen and red numbers are very easy to see, not only up front but from far away too. The timer modes cover everything that I need, including the intervals which I use a lot. The battery also lasts a good amount of time, where I rarely charge it and it still goes. When I just need a clock, it's easy to grab this where the clock time feature comes in real handy. The Red and Green colors look really good with the Blue case, which is a nice bonus.

I’ve had this timer for a little over a month, and when it works, it works great and does what I need it for! But about 3 weeks into using it, and after charging, it just wouldn’t hold any kind of charge and would shut off without me knowing…until I looked to the clock for my 30 sec start and the screen was black. Very frustrating for the price and I’m pretty disappointed, as I workout at least 5 times a week and utilize timing in my workouts.
