Much cheaper than the OEM GoPro model ($10 vs $50) although you get an extra battery with the GoPro model. Works just as normal, haven't seen any differences that would make me regret the purchase and go with the OEM model.Nice that it includes both a MicroUSB and USB-C input as I don't have to worry about not having a particular cord with me when traveling (I have the Pixel XL and plenty of MicroUSB devices). I wish I would have waited to purchase the Wasabi charger + 2 batteries package as opposed to jumping at the OEM GoPro battery in the store, but oh well!One thing I can say that I love over this that was a pain with the GoPro 3 & 4 Wasabi charger is that the older style could ONLY charge the Wasabi battery packs and NOT the GoPro OEM batteries due to slight physical differences in the batteries. This solves that problem and is battery agnostic, so even if I did purchase Wasabi batteries down the line, I can charge both the aftermarket Wasabi and GoPro batteries side by side with no issues.

Super compact, great for traveling, love that it is powered by a regular USB-C cable so you don’t need to bring an extra cables. Works great on actual GoPro brand batteries!

Works as intended, no problem recognizing my batteries and charges quickly. It would be nice it the design was like the Gopro dual charger because when it’s not sitting stationary the batteries can move or tilt.

In this day and age you don't really expect much from a vendor. That's why when GoPro in an upgrade made third party batteries unusable, the first thing Wasabi did was alert the buyer and then offer money back or OEM replacements. I promptly got the replacements. I recommend doing business with this ethical vendor. You can't beat the price or their way of doing business. Here is a post I wrote about my experience.GoPro yesterday sent up an upgrade. So I upgraded. A few weeks ago I bought two batteries and a charger for over half the price that GoPro sells them for from a company called Wasabi. I've used these batteries before in many different cameras and I can say from experience that they are great and though cheaper didn't seem to compromise. I get a note today from Wasabi saying that if I upgraded their batteries would no longer work and that the upgrade only did one thing.....make the batteries useless. They offered to take my purchase back or to replace them with an OEM battery which was amazingly ethical on their part.I called GoPro to complain and the guy I talked to said he wasn't all that aware of the problem but that they had gotten calls about and after I said I would never buy another product again from them, he said he would look into it. I then checked on the new upgrade to see what it would do. Nowhere did it indicate any effect on 3rd party batteries. It just said performance enhancements. A bold faced lie.I then got an FAQ from them. Here is my reply:The FAQ you sent me is filled with vague answers that try to indicate that the reason the batteries from 3rd parties didn’t work or worked before and not now was due to malfunctioning when in fact it only happened after you guys sent down a reputed upgrade that made the batteries stop working. The reason you did this is not so I don’t use defective batteries but so I am forced to buy from you at double the price. I think that’s called trying to create a monopoly.I am surprised that a company like yours that portends to be so “Touchy Feely” would engage in such a nefarious scheme. Hey I bought you camera, do I have to be stuck with your over inflated prices for accessories?At least Wasabi was open enough to inform its customers of what has gone on and has offered to give a refund or replace it with an OEM battery. I wish GoPro was just as ethical.Feel free to pass this on to Nick Woodman who by actions such as this doesn’t seem to care about the customer any longer, only about their cash. It really is a shame because you do make a fine product and to sully it this way only diminishes its reputation for a very minor profit.STAY AWAY FROM GOPRO they have lousy ethics.

I got this charger to run my two backup batteries on my GOPRO HERO 5. The charger works very well, charging both batteries at once without a problem.I have noticed that if one battery is charged and the other is not, and I put them both in the charger, that both lights glow red. This is weird and might be an issue for you. For me, this is never really a problem so much as a curiosity.If you use the GoPro a lot you'll notice, as have I, that it eats batteries quickly. For that reason, I'm glad to have this multicharger.

It's simple, so this will be short.It's got two charging ports for GoPro batteries - a Hero 7 Black in my case - and comes with a USB cable for connecting to a USB power source. With something like this, you can have two batteries in the charger and one in use and keep rotating them out if you're shooting over a long day.It doesn't get hot and it doesn't over-charge.Simple.

The charger itself works great for offical gopro batteries. I own a lot of cameras and I can assure you I have a wasabi battery and each one of them. Its unfortunate that gopro created a firmware upgrade to the gopro Hero 5 Black that prevents the use of any competitors batteries. With that being said I feel this charger works great for charging the official gopro hero 5 batteries. I own the gopro dual battery charger and after comparing the two side by side with 4 drained batteries, wasabi beat the charge time of the OEM gopro charger. Apparently gopro wants the consumer to buy the speed charger to use along with the dual charger. Save yourself a ton of money buy buying an additional gopro battery and this charger!

Works good and no issue with the charger. Use it to charge couple of the GoPro batteries.

The batteries work like the GoPro originals.
