New keyboard fixed keyboard not working problem.
A little over a month ago, my keyboard stopped working entirely. No keys would work, and the touchpad would not work either. So I spent a fair amount of time looking for a potential solution online, but nothing worked. I read one comment by someone probably having the same problem - to the effect that they suspected a driver issue caused by a Windows update. So, buying this keyboard was a shot in the dark. Chuwi was not particularly helpful. This is for my 12" tablet. With this new keyboard, everything is now working as expected. One star is deducted due to Chuwi's sub par response.

Just bad...
Not sure if they even have a Quality Control Department, but this keyboard's magnets are reversed. You can get the CHUWI tablet to sit on the bar that runs the length of the keyboard just fine, but the smaller bar with the pins that are designed to power the tablet just won't connect. The polarity of the magnets are wrong and it will try to attach just to either side of the pin port on the tablet. If you flip it around however, it attaches just fine - you just won't be able to power the keyboard that way.I suspect that whoever was on the line that day simply didn't know which way was which...and didn't care.Another thing - one of the 5-star reviews has pictures of a completely different keyboard, which makes me suspect the other 5-star reviews. Also, the page says that a USB cable is included in the box, but that isn't the case - not even sure why you'd need one since the keyboard doesn't even have a USB port - did they recycle this page from another product entirely?Returning and giving up on this company.

Works fine.
Works great, connects easily. Personally, I like the chiclet style keys for these detachable keyboards. Trackpad does its job. Not much to complain about, but not much to praise either. But solid, basic performance.
