This book has a simple sweet message to be kind and help others. The illustrations are lovely and it was fun for my grandchild to learn another way of saying grandmother. I highly recommend.

Classic story of how we miss the most important events when not present. My daughter (8) was enchanted by Babushka and it was a lovely addition to our traditional Christmas tales. An absolute must and a great alternative (or addition depending upon views) to the Santa stories.
