Quality Camera, Quality Footage, Great Price :-)
I now have several of the cameras made by IMOU, and all of them offer great functions and work so well in many applications, the first one I purchased for monitoring my grandson has been invaluable, the detection, sound and quality of images and recording are superb. My second purchase is mounted in a wooden house I built that captures all the hedgehog activity and antics in the garden, instantly notifying a visitor. Again, all footage is an excellent quality to watch later and share with friends and family. My next purchase is currently monitoring and capturing the bird visitors and activity, I have been concerned about the lack of birds so set up a bird feeding centre all of which is now been monitored and captured thanks to these amazing cameras. No matter which model is selected, they all have great features and are so well made, presented and not to mention the app which allows you to view, control and set up all the cameras you have from your armchair.Really impressed with all my IMOUC cameras :-)

Very pleased with quality
The image is sooo clear, colours- natural, sound could be better but still ok for such a cheap cam. Connected very quick and easily. Many different options to adjust it.I am watching my pet alone and also for the door security. VERY pleased with this camera.Btw, 1st month is free, then it will cost about £3 per month. Still worth it.

Good value but Onvif PTZ does not work with other camera apps
As far as quality and features are concerned I am happy with this camera. I bought it to replace a Wansview 1080p IP camera that was showing its age. I also have a Nooie 360, an Arenti Dome 1 and a Laxihub Minicam. I use an Android app called TinyCam to integrate the Wanscam and the last two in one viewing platform. There is a Nooie app and an Arenti app but I prefer to integrate. TinyCam also runs on my Android TV.Arenti and Laxihub are the same company. Both cameras use the Onvif standard. The Arenti Dome 1 has PTZ, which works well with the TinyCam app. The Imou also has Onvif but it's implementation is incomplete. It's Onvif for viewing is fine. The Nooie does not have Onvif.I bought the Imou because of the better resolution than the Arenti Dome 1 and the Nooie. Otherwise they are similar in feature set (at least the ones essential to me). My only disappointment is that Imou do not provide a working Onvif interface for PTZ. Having said that, the Arenti and Nooie are far more expensive. Presumably they need to recoup the money spent on the eye candy designs (I like the Imou design better!).So, I can live with the lack of PTZ in TinyCam and if you are fine with using the manufacturer's app for control and viewing, I would recommend the Imou over the Arenti and Nooie on the basis of cost, resolution and equivalent feature set.The Nooie app is a poor best. The Arenti and the Imou app are pretty awful in design but liveable with. The Imou app is not intuitive, for example in setting up continuous recording to card. Also it's camera setup could be better. If you are looking for a good featured, good quality camera with good resolution and a good price then the Imou Ranger 2C 4Mp fills those requirements.

Excellent Office Camera for General Monitoring
This Imou 2.5K security camera is fantastic! The 360° rotational view provides excellent coverage, and the 4MP resolution ensures clear video quality. It was easy to set up in my office and works perfectly for general monitoring. Motion and sound detection features are responsive, and the night vision is impressive. The two-way audio is a nice touch for quick communication. Overall, a great camera for keeping an eye on things—highly recommended!

Started off loving this CCTN now I see it for what it is .....
Update after a few weeks use and now with 6 of their cameras in the CCTV system - bought before I realised the badness of them!A big change of opinion and star rating (lost 4 stars) due to the sheer hassle of fighting their system and desire to get you to sign up to their subscription. All issues that could be easily fixed. This could be a great camera save for some very poor design (or is it marketing?), terrible instructions, and the desire to sign you up to their subscription for basic functions, things like downloading the video from the SD card -. Oh and their tech support is pretty bad, answers will put you in a spiral of frustration or they miss the question and can't explain things like a lack of MAC address.Lost a star rating for that.If you want to record video, then welcome to the fight of trying to get it to recognise the SD card - won't even format it, just say corrupt card and won't allow it to be formatted.Hint - If you persist you will find that the camera has to be switched off when inserting- no inserting card while on! Be nice if that was in the instructions - or even if there was some usable instructions full stop! Then you find it uses a non standard format .dav for recording to SD card. Guess another chance to sign you up.Hint use the excellent free VLC media player!Lost another star for thatThen there is the big IMOU logo on the screen why? Want to see the scene not your darn logo.Another star off for thatIf you want to connect it to a NVR. Yes that will work but they deliberately go out of the way to make it difficult, by refusing to give you the MAC address or local IP address so you can identify the camera on the network. Nasty and just lazy - Or is it a case of please use our subscription? One other thought and worrying thought - this is a Chinese company, and when installing the app they insist that you have geolocation on - suspicious? Absolutely! lose 2 stars for thatProbably negative stars by now but Amazon insist you can't be worse than one!So now back to the original review - oh the days of being so naïve!The only bad thing I can say about this camera are the instructions, but once you know how to , its actually very easy!Big bonus is that the camera is ONVIF compatible so can be used with 3rd party software and NVR recorders as part of a CCTV system. Possibly even doing video productions such ,YouTube etc ., as most decent production software supports ONVIF cameras. A feature many other cameras in this price bracket don't support. The app that comes with it is ok, but not brilliant and its main objective seems to get you to sign up for the additional monthly fees (recording and better AI). But the free to use functions are adequate especially if used in conjunction with hardware recorder (NVR ) to record the output, the ONVIF compatibility makes it a real winner here.Have used these for extending the CCTV video security to inside the house to keep track of the pets and extra deterrent for intruders, the ability to use the camera shield gives privacy when required. The audio functions to be able to talk is great, the pets can be told off when they get on to the couch even when you are not there!Running off a USB power adaptor is useful.Would I buy again - Yes (and I have!)

Great camera, just easy and faultless
Great camera, had it a while now, works faultlessly, clear images, records onto its own SD card, ad completely controllable with the app from anywhere you have Internet. So good I now have them inside and outside my house covering everything and all on one app, love it.

Happy with my purchase
Very happy with this camera it’s a very clear picture and easy to set up , only thing now and then it do miss few minutes of recording but that’s not a problem as it’s only 1/2 minutes other than that I’m very happy, I use the camera inside the house through a window and the camera quality is still really good
