My first yaesu mobile - nothing too fancy! Just what I needed.

What's not to like? Always something but this works perfect for me. Rugged, great audio and plenty of power. I wanted something I could use in my "company" vehicle when on duty but was easily transferable. I opted for a 1/4 wave 2m magmount to make transport easier over the MFJ dual band included in the deal. I also picked up a cigarette lighter plug since I figured I would never exceed power demand using medium power setting. So far, working perfect. I have several Yaesu radios already and trust the reputation and quality. This set up is working great and with the NOAA weather warning , I never miss important info. Nice radio for beginners or the seasoned ham. KC8PRW
