Great VCR and works like new. It fit my need for the grandkids to watch some children's video tapes. Thanks for the great service.

Outdated VCR
It's just OK. Wanted a plain VCR to play some old VHS movies, this player skips and jumps a bit but it works . Watch out for WorldWide Distributers though, archaic "we can make it up on shipping and handling" online sales profit mentality. Paid 1/3 the price of the VCR for shipping and handling because I didn't catch the fine print.

A great deal for a great price indeed.
Between having a very fast rewind system (including fast-forward obviously), to having great picture quality, you can't beat this deal, especially because you are getting a new VCR. I personally like the quality of VCRs more than DVD players, but know getting a good player is the key to getting good picture and better sound. I have absolutely no complaints about the VCR. There are also no "glitches" on even the oldest VHS tapes. Some of the old tapes that are around 40 years old and in bad shape, unlike with other VCRs, play very well on this VCR. A great deal for a great price indeed.

Great quality, easy setup.
So easy my wife set it up. (She's not tech savvy at all ) great quality looks really good to. Best thing it's not a DVD combo.

JVC 4-Head HiFi VCR Review
This product was something I knew that was going to be of high quality. After all, the previous two JVC HR-A592Us I had were the highest quality VCRs I ever had, so I knew I was getting a very good product when I got it. And the JVC HR-A592U VCR is far superior to the VCR portion of the Magnavox VCR/DVD recorder combo. The only question is that, since it was a used product, how long will it last, because VCRs usually last three years with me, due to the way I use them. But the quality is top of the line, a fact I know from past experience. The only question I have is how long I'll be able to use it, since it was used when I purchased it.

Advertised new, got not new
The VCR plays about the way I thought it would, picture about as good as the quality of the VCR except a little dark, sound as good as my TV can supply. My biggest disappointment was that the product was advertised as new ( I went back and checked the check out description and it still said new) but received either a reconditioned or used unit. Th telltale signs were no warranty information cards included in the box, the power cord was hand folded and some of the serial numbers were blacked out-very disappointing.
