OticonTV Adapter 3.0 - For OPN, Engage, Siya

Feeds audio from a tv direct to my hearing aids via Bluetooth. (You need hearing aids that have Bluetooth). Not a cheap item and bought it with some trepidation. However it works brilliantly and I can hear everything very clearly. It connects to a toslink output (no, I hadn’t heard of it before either) on the tv, just pushes in. The appropriate cable is in the box plus other connectors if your tv doesn’t have a toslink. My tv is ancient and I was surprised it had one. It is made by Oticon for their hearing aids and controlled via the Oticon app on my iPhone. It’s a well made small box. Heartily recommended.

Great product which allows the family to listen to the Sonos surround sound system at a level that's comfortable to them, while I enjoy my own sound level where i can finally hear the dialogue in films and other media. a great product and worth every penny.

Works fairly well, unfortunately my father finds the app on his mobile phone difficult to work / understand. Would be better with an additional remote control I think.

Tried on two connections methods to LG TV , paired my aids and the sound was very quiet, went to my tablet oticon app pressed to the adaptor and raised the sound to Max, I could still hear the tv sound louder than the sound in my hearing aids, very expensive kit to not work for me. gave up and returned. Fed up with gadgets, sad as I had hoped it would improve the sound quality of the TV.

This device is perfect to transfer sound from my TV directly to my Oticon Engage hearing aids.Instructions:1) Plugged the device into the mains via the USB cable provided.2) Connected the device to my TV via the provided Toslink cable.3) Put my hearing aids on top of the device for 30 seconds and it was connected (blue lights turned green)4) I then turned on the Oticon Companion App (downloaded free onto my iphone which I had previously used to pair my hearing aids to my phone ) and switched to the 'TV Adapter/EduMic' setting.That was all that was needed. It took just 2-3 minutes. I strongly recommend this device.Notes:I can hear the TV sound anywhere in the house if I have to move out of the room.No more subtitles needed for me and no need to turn up the TV sound (family members happy).The Toslink cable allows the TV to be heard by others in the room as normal.In case your TV has no Toslink port, an alternative red and white (RCA) cable set is provided. Use of the RCA cable may adversely affect the sound for others in the room (I have not used this cable so I don't know.The instruction book is slightly out of date. It doesn't mention the USB cable to connect to the mains. Also the instruction book didn't mention that the blue lights go green when pairing is complete.The instruction book doesn't mention the newer Oticon Companion App (it only mentions an earlier version, no longer available. It also doesn't mention that you can select the 'TV adaptor' setting from the app. It only mentions using a switch on your hearing aid. My Oticon Engage hearing aid was only progammed for loop. So it was a relief that the app got me connected immediately, without having to use a switch on the hearing aid. Essentially the free Oticon Companion app converts your phone into a remote control for the device. Very happy.

I already had one connected to my TV and live using that to watch movies with the family on my hearing aids. But as I am working on my computer all day it occurred to me to use it there too.I easily connected this second unit to the back of my computer screen and now my PC plays directly to my aids too. Amazing transformation as I work a lot on video edits, zoom calls and Teams meetings.(And it works well for Xbox PC games too :-)

It works like a dream, at last I can watch TV without forcing my wife to see subtitles.
