The purchase was a mistake somehow as I already bought this book elsewhere. But she's o e if my two top favorite authors on quilting. Excellent tips and instructions.

This book is very informative and Pat includes a few easy patterns, well worth the money.

I’m an experienced quilter but always looking for new ideas even if they’re for beginners. Pat Sloan’s books are always informative. There are also some cute patterns in this book.

I Haven't had time to use it yet but I have scanned through it and I can't learn to Free Motion Quilt in only a few days. You have to give me more time...But seriously, I watch Pat Sloan on You Tube and I know I am going to love this book. It is full of good information.

Teaches how to quilt on finish items

I was so afraid of ruining my quilt. I have arthritis in my hands and it is just too painful to hand quilt anymore. But after all the work of piecing a top and then sandwiching the layers and basting it together, I was terrified I would ruin the quilt if I tried to machine quilt it. I read Pat’s book twice. Made notes and post noted several tips. Then I Purchased a walking foot for my older machine, tested it on small project first. Then, with this book beside my sewing table, I began machine quilting my quilt. Woo hoo! It worked! The quilt is finished and beautiful. Thanks for all the great instructions!

Excellent, very clear instructions with photos for every step.

I purchased the Kindle edition of this book. I like the clear explanations given of various technique. A bonus also is that one tap on my iPad brings up a video of key processes- very helpful.

Wonderful book easy to follow.

I have several books about free motion machine quilting, but this one is the best. It covers all the basic information but also has some great tips . Best of all it shows you how to resolve problems and the illustrations are really helpful.

Great book very helpful for beginners +++
