Brilliant!
The title was bland and had it not been for the amazing blurb I'd not have read further. It starts with Jessica Taylor meeting a handsome stranger while walking her dog (stranger is also walking his dog), she is struck by lightning and wakes up in hospital having been taken there by aforementioned stranger. She wakes in Lauren Richardson's body who happens to be a mother of four. Jessica, a singleton with a career, is happy with her lifestyle - or so she thinks. She falls in love with Lauren's children and can't bear a to be parted from them. But Jessica's life isn't as perfect Lauren first thought: the children are unruly, little Teddy has mental problems, her husband is possessive and controlling and she has a stalker! In contrast Jessica seems a little too perfect, and I must admit that did annoy me. The time travelling bit was a little hard to understand when Lauren went to visit her real house and found herself asleep (while Jessica was asleep, Lauren was awake and vice versa). I think that could have gone into with a little more depth - it seemed to be glossed over; mentioned as if the author didn't want to pursue it.I was worried as I got near to the end that the story would be predictable, and thought it'd be all tied up too perfectly. But it wasn't. The ending was HEA but there was also room for the reader to draw their own conclusions.

Could it be magic?
This book wasn't what I expected. Melanie Rose has a different take to many of the writers I usually read. I would recommend this book if you like thinking about what things could be like if you took a different path. It's an easy and interesting read, not quite a grown up fairy tale, but you do have to suspend reality. Importantly, as a single lady, it had my favourite element...a happy ending!

Not her best work
Having read Coming Home, a number of times, I had high hopes for this book. Sadly I didn't find it anywhere near as good as Coming Home.It just felt like a struggle. I persevered to the end, but was left feeling I'd invested a lot more than I got back.

Lovely
I am an admittedly ashamed chick lit reader but I read so many books including classics such as George Orwell, Guy de Maupassant, Emile Zola etc but sometimes I need to break from the heaviness of classic books that I read a book like Melanie Rose books that it makes a welcome change. This book is lovely and easy to read and it has a feel good factor to it. Very relaxing and suitable for travelling.

Very pleasantly surprised....
I read the synopsis and thought 'hmmm, that's not really for me' but after reading the reviews decided to give it a go. I'm so pleased I did. The storyline hooked me right from the first page and rather than being the silly story I thought it would be it was actually an incredibly thought provoking and interesting read. All I can say is, give it a go, you might be very pleasantly surprised too!

could it be magic
im not one for writing a long review for a book , as people do this and end up telling most of the story , i know thats what a review basically is but i would just like to do my bit and recommend this book . its obviously very unreal , but i just COULD NOT put it down, this would make a great film . excellant value for money too !!!
