Hot RacingXMX48M06 Aluminum Servo Saver Bellcrank Steering X Max

Bought thinking it would fit the xrt it does not

Fitment was good when installing but haven't run it yet

My steering is better than new on my X-Max 8S,, Traxxas should use this part when building the RC Truck!! It’s a must have for any X-Max owner,, precise steering, quick response,, fine-tuned steering,, comparing to stock,, feels like a power steering kit!!! This item is well made,, well crafted,, high end aluminum parts,, beautiful actually,, heavy duty,, also sent two servo saver springs,, stiff and stiffer,, but way better than the Traxxas upgraded or servo saver spring the offer for the new servo 2805X,, I’m very happy,, it’s like driving a different RC,, like it has dual steering servos now!!! High end part at a affordable price,, I guess I’d pay 100.00 to drive and steer this good,,💯💪💪. PS: you must use all of your stock bearings in new Hot Racing Kit!!!

I am experiencing the same problem but I have the old service with plastic horn gearwhich lasts about 10 minutes I didn't notice any improvement from all aluminum minus the two belcranks I was about to buy the new x servo but apparently doesn't resove the issue I may have to take a loss and pull this product out. Typical Traxxas issue where an upgrade creates a failure point at the weak link

Nice part that looks cool, but causes problems. My friend and I both put this part on because we kept breaking the plastic parts but I almost immediately stripped the (metal) gears in the servo, and he burned his servo up entirely (both had the 2085x upgraded servo). It needs the plastic parts as a place to break to save the servo from breaking which is MUCH more expensive!

Make sure you take apart and grease the surface on servo saver. Other wise you will eat through servos. I learned this the hard way
