Best griddle available
I got this just in time for a camping trip. What more could I ask for? The smooth side is perfect for eggs, hash browns, French toast, grilled cheese and pancakes; the other side is great for burgers, bacon and sausage, anything that has some fat that runs off, right into the drip corner. It fit on my stove in the house, on my grill and in my RV; it covers 2 burners and is nice and wide. I got 6 pieces of French toast nicely browned and ready to serve all at the same time. Clean-up is a breeze, dump the drippings and wash. This is the right griddle. The friends we camped with are ordering their griddle today.

Very slick surface
This is a very good, well made griddle, very easy to clean and cook on. I wish it had tabs on the ends so it wouldn't slide around on top of the stove's grate.

Fun to use!
Fits perfectly on my center burner and I've used many times - paninis, bacon, grilled cheese all come out perfect!!. Slight scratch after first time use and I only used plastic spatula and non scratch sponge. Not sure what happened. Just be careful handling.

Have used it often for many years
I've used this for a lot of my cooking, most often in the oven when broiling and pancakes. Initially it cleaned up easily, but gradually over a time, the non-stick coating started coming off (have we been eating it?). Now it's very difficult to clean unless I get to it right away, and the dishwasher won't even clean it.Still, I haven't found a replacement and I'm here looking for one that will do all the things it did and fit in my oven. My tendency is to buy the same one and hope it lasts. But maybe the coating comes off faster now, based on some reviews I'm seeing here.Edit: After repurchasing this to replace the one I'd used for many years, I found it to be quite different from the old one. This one is about half the weight and thickness of the old one. So far, the coating is lasting. The cleanup is not quite as easy as when it was new, though it's not a problem. Yet. Warning - you aren't supposed to subject it to high temperatures. Hmmm.

Ideal Grill/Griddle
I have had an All Clad griddle, electric griddle and a George Foreman grill along with multiple gas and charcoal grills over the years. This griddle solves so many issues and provides a perfect surface at the right tempature to grill peppers and other vegies, meat, pancakes and grilled cheese sandwitches quick and easy. Clean up is a dream come true since I can put it in the sink water. Also freed up lots of room in my cookware cabinet. All my other gadgets for grilling went to a new home. Can''t beat it or the price. Makes the people I cook for rave about everything that comes off of it. Best kitchen purchase in a long time.

Eating Teflon...
I purchased this and was the sole user. It was treated gently and carefully washed. No metal utensils were ever used on this item. This item was only used in an oven, not on a stovetop or grill. It was never non-stick. After noticing that things were sticking, I tried to coat the smooth side with various things to make things not stick (olive oil, butter, sprays, etc.) and nothing worked. I baked chicken on the smooth side last week and it stuck so badly that the Teflon layer pulled off the griddle and stuck to the chicken! Since the other side seemed to be okay and showed no chipping, I tried to cook bacon on it. The bacon stuck and the Teflon pulled off of every ridge. I've had to pitch $20 worth of inedible food.Useless after about 20 times.

You should buy this now
Beautiful, beautiful piece of cookware!Amazing pricing point... This bad boy has an amazing nonstick surface, TWO sided, and is very large. I like to get down on the griddle with large meals, there's so much room for activity on this thing. Cleaning it was even easier. Two things to be aware of:Don't use anything metal or sharp on the surface, you WILL make marks. I used a fork with bacon and now there's a forever reminder of my stupidity engraved into the pan. Second, the handles get hot. Don't touch em. Ya gotta let it cool before cleaning. You should be doing that anyways though, for the longevity of the pan.

nice alternative (or complement) to George Foreman grill
I like to grill steak, chops and chicken and have used a George Foreman grill exclusively before purchasing this grill. This piece is a nice alternative to the GF...particularly since it grills one side at a time. The Good...because it sits atop your stove burners, you can adjust the heat setting (though this takes some practice)...which is something the bargain GF grills don't do and the more expensive GF grills do with only a small range of temps. Plus, if you span it across two burners, you can have one end set to a grilling temp and the other end set to a "keep warm" temp. No grill is easy to clean, but this one's easier than a GF type. The Bad...though it has a non-stick coating, you should still use a non-sticking spray (Pam). The Jury's still out...I wonder how long the non-stick surface will last with it being in direct contact with the carbon heating elements of an electric burner. Also, I doubt I would have used this for a gas burner as you'd have to closely monitor the flame to ensure it doesn't "suffocate" and you're left with a build-up of natural gas.

A attaché dès la première utilisation
Pancakes désastreux sur une planche antiadhésive bien huilée qui attache. Jeter plus de 40€ par la fenêtre est très frustrant.

The Product doesnt retain shape
2 Months into use, flat shape doesn't retain for the product. Don't expect this.

so easy to clean
Heats evenly, so easy to clean. A little lightweight and will bow slightly if only heating one side causing runny items to pool on one end. Simple solution, heat whole unit even if only using a portion of it. Exactly what I was expecting. Use it all the time!

It's a Toss up between my Rachael Ray Cookware and the grill. But having used these Grills as a Chef in Northern Fire Camps, my vote goes to the grill. But a word of note, spray them with Pam for easier cleanup
