Great system for tile.
They are great for spacing four foot tile. The red caps are reusable so that is a great plus. Once the black spacer has set I believe 24 hours you can just pick the top off if you don't want to use the rubber hammer. It works a lot easier but put boot on or a heavy shoe front. You can reuse the black pieces you kick off or bang off as spacers which help in extra leveling. Great system, don't try putting three or four foot ceramic or porcelain tile down without this system. We totally recommend this. You will be thankful you did. Update on our tile and it is beautiful because we used the spacers. We are now going to reuse the pieces from last time ....yes less than a year .....but we are ready to do the kittenette area.

Easy to use
Does what it says it will, easy to use. Takes some getting used to knowing just how tight to keep things but well worth the effort.

Extremely pleased with the product
Had an ambitious bathroom tile of walls and floor. The Spin Doctor worked perfectly to help get even, totally leveled planks across all 4 walls and managing lippage. Extremely pleased with the product.

but it was very easy to use
The only leveling product I have ever tried, but it was very easy to use. I ran out of red spinners on a 100sqft floor and had 100 more black levelers, go figure. Floor looked great but I was working on Ditra over flat concrete. Didn't buy the protective rings and no marks were left on porcelain.

I will continue to use for large format tile installation.
I've used these for laying 13x20, 6x24, and 24x24 ceramic and porcelain tile with 1/8 grout lines on the floor and 1/16 grout lines on the wall. Pros: At least three times as fast as mechanical levelers in terms of installation and comparable in terms of removal. The actual base is not overly angled upwards like other levelers. In other words, the flat part of the base is flat and does not raise lightweight tiles from mortar bed. The ability to quickly spin the tops on while reaching across rows of placed tile on a floor is so convenient. Removal is a snap "literally". Once the mortar has dried, you just kick the tops and the threaded portion of the base snaps off. Sweep all the snapped tops in a pile and quickly spin the tops off the threaded spacer. Cons: The 1/8 spacer takes enough force to snap that it can pop a tile up if for what ever reason it didn't have enough mortar coverage or dry time. May require up to 48 hours for mortar to dry for successful removal to avoid popping tile. Tips: Highly recommend using the anti-friction plate because the twisting action while tightening the top will cause the tiles to move without them.

The worst to remove!!
Worked great to level tiles. Breaking them off is the hardest ever! Waited 24 hours to try and remove them and it's almost impossible to remove these with out popping the tiles loose. The only method I can figure out is to tighten the red cap until the black screw breaks off. This is time consuming and if the thin-set is not hardened enough the tile will come loose. Too much work!!! Very disappointed in this product.

Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought these things thinking they would be an upgrade over the wedge style I have been using for years. They are NOT. These things are HORRIBLE. I was trying to break the things off hitting them sideways just as you should with a rubber mallet. They won't break! I hit one so hard it broke the corner of the tile out and the Spin Doctor STILL didn't break!!!!!! Now I have to chisel out a whole bunch of wall tall and repair it because of these stupid things. Chipped tiles, broken tiles. Unbelievable!! I had more than 50 break just barely above the tile so you cannot hit it, you cannot grab it with pliers, etc. So I'm going to have to carefully chisel them out with a screwdriver and pray MORE tiles don't get damaged. You can believe me when I say these things are going straight in the trash and I am going back to the wedge style. I've never once had a problem with those. This is an awful product.
