I bought this book because I knew a bunch of the classic tunes in it that I wanted to learn and play. But I just keep finding songs in there that become my new favorites or get recommended by friend. Its expanded my playing abilities and repertoire 10X. It is just music and words but what more do you really need anyway. I love it!

Good chord charts that get the basic progressions right. The lyrics are easy for my to read. The physical book has a comb-type binding and is overall of excellent quality. One minor quibble is the thickness of the book, another page, and the book would definitely be too thick. I would rather have the book be thinner and in two volumes even if it cost slightly more for the two.

Some tunes are using # and b names for the same chords. Without a key change, that is a bit strange but nonetheless this book has a lot of fun country tunes in it. Some of the keys seem unrealistic, but grab a capo and change it I guess. Fast delivery

Plenty of good music with intros to songs and melodies. Good stuff.

Best classic country music collection I've found. Not chopped and diced, full score and words. Melody and proper chords. Nicely indexed as well.

This is my 3rd book in the series and all have a nice selection of songs very accurately presented.
