This product was bought for my nephew and he loved it. It works better than we thought.It was packaged VERY well and to me that is your first impression of an item is packaging and when a seller/manufacturer takes the time to pack things well and protected for shipping, I love it!PROS: EXTREMELY lightweight, very easy to put together. It came with batteries!! Thank you!!It's not to complicated and confusing to use. It takes a minute to get use to but the control unit is simple, not to many buttons. I liked all the accessories it came with especially the bag to carry it.CONS: I wasn't thrilled with the weird florescent orange camouflage. It makes the unit look like a kids toy which is a shame because it's a great unit and not cheaply made at all. If they had proper camouflage like Woodland, Tiger stripe, or Digital they could of made it look like it's up to Military standards which would enhance the product not devalue.Although it was bought for a 11 yr old and he didn't mind but his older brother hated it 🤣.All in all for the price, the quality, ease of use it's OUTSTANDING and would DEFINITELY buy again. I got it on a Lightning Deal and only paid $100 and it's as good as some that are double the price. Honestly if I could get a real military style camouflage I would buy one for myself.

Very responsive seller, updating from 4 start to 5 star.-END EDIT-I haven't used a metal detector for many years, so picking this up was a bit of a trip down memory lane for me.Believe it's pretty light for a metal detector which would make going out on a treasure hunting trip less draining. Assembly is pretty straight forward with no tools required. One minor issue is that the extension arm for the detector head can't go all the way down to the smallest hole due to how it was designed. So one adjustment notch will be unusable, don't let that throw you off when assembling! Batteries were also not included when I bought it so be sure to have a couple 9Vs to get it up and going.Once built its pretty solid and comfortable to use. The included shovel is pretty handy and has a built in compass, bottle opener, and saw blade on it! The included headphones are nice but pretty basic, might want to use some more comfortable ones if hunting for an extended period.When testing it out it was pretty good at finding larger coins. It had some issues when detecting near concrete/rebar so would mainly use it out in the wild or less developed areas. It was great at detecting a silver dollar coin I had! Silver light it up like a Christmas tree which is nice! The basic modes seem to pulse the detection system to conserve battery while the pin point (PP) mode activates a full scan with the sounds you might typically associate with a metal detector. I found that mode the most handy to use tho to use it you need to hold down the PP button continually.Overall, it's a decently solid beginners metal detector. If you want to give treasure hunting a try w/o going to hard into it, this is a pretty good choice!
