Feel like the plot for this series has been quite similar from book to book recently. I'm getting a little bored with laughably easy confrontations in the first half, followed by a potential threat in the second half that is dealt with using a convenient power-up that hasn't been shown until now, and ended with a teaser for an upcoming threat.
