No More Salons!
Cannot believe how well these work. This should’ve came out decades ago to save me thousands at the nail salon. Anyone can use these. It takes about 30 mins to do a whole set and you’re out the door. No more waiting in a salon or sitting there wondering if you will catch an infections from unclean tools or listening to people argue in other languages. These stay on for at least 2 weeks without popping off. They are really easy to remove if you make a mistake or just wanted to wear them for a special event. I’ve recommended them to many and you cannot beat this price.

great...ish?
the product is exactly what it's described as. Clear gel x nails (solid and strong) etc.I'm a newbie at this (I'm trying the whole self care thing.) and so I had a few mess ups getting the things adhered but they are solid and stay on!That said... I'm not sure the amount of stars to give... I feel like this set was made for tiny children's hands or something... I can only use two of the multiple sizes and it'd be worse if it wasn't for building gel to help keep all in place. These things are so tiny!!!!Maybe I just have fat fingernail beds.Either way....They are in fact what is being sold... I mark it up to my own incompetence for my dissatisfaction.... (Other than the tiny size. How do I only fit maybe three out of the twelve?)

Perfect for beginners
As a licensed nail tech, this is perfect for beginners but just make sure you have a big LED light to fully cure through to avoid contact dermatitis.

Decent Kit, But Glue Could Be Better
The Beetles Gel Nail Kit is overall a decent option for DIY nails. It comes with everything you need, and the quality of the gels and the nails themselves is pretty good for the price. However, the biggest issue I had was with the glue—it doesn’t hold the nail in place before curing under the UV light. That makes it really difficult to press the nail down properly while also trying to use the UV lamp. It’s definitely a two-hand job, it’s a bit frustrating. Once cured, the nails hold up well, but getting there is a challenge. If the glue was a little tackier to hold the nail in place before curing, this kit would be much better.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
To be upfront, I am partial to anything Beetles. 🙌🏻 ❤When I got these fake full coverage nails, I tried them and was astonished with the outcome! 😁 Prep your nail as you would for gel polish. Make sure to buff underneath the false tips. They come in 0-9 sizes. Choose the side for each finger that covers side wall to side wall.Get your fabulous flash cure light that came in the package (bonus as far as I'm concerned) 🤸🏼♀After you have buffed your nail and the underside of the false nail. You can wipe with a cotton nail wipe dipped in alcohol to clean both surfaces. Take One Piece of nail at a time, the glue doesn't take much to ahere. Brush on (I use any ole brush I have) enough onto the the undersurface and from there from the beginning of the top of your nail to the end of the false nail press the false nail to tbe end of your own nail. Do not press hard as the gule will come out of each side in a messy..(oh my goodness I used too much moment!) Dip a clean nail brush into alcohol and clean any excess glue before you enter under the flash cure light that comes with the kit for the time recommended. Continue to press down while flash curing where most of the light shines onto your false nail tip.I then put my nail in a regular size nail lamp for 30 seconds more until the nail is cured enough.I Have Faith In You!Now I have 10 beautiful Nails in Black and 2 Red For Halloween! 🎃 👻I HOPE THIS HELPS 💅🏻 AT LEAST ONE PERSON!!

Great… if you prep correctly
I bought these for my teen daughter because she’s always begging me to take her to the nail salon and this broke momma can’t afford those beautification fees. Overall, they make for a great set of extensions if you take your time and do it properly. The big must have for longevity is to drill your nails and use rubbing alcohol to wipe off all debris and nail oils prior to applying the adhesive.I noticed that I got air bubbles under the nails when applying the glue to the extensions but that was easily remedied by applying the glue directly to the (human) nail and then pressing the extensions over them. I also drilled any excess glue that came out over the sides or under the nail, as this creates uncomfortablility when the nails start to grow out and ensuring no glue is touching the skin. I wonder if that’s the problem some people had with the glue is that it was in contact with their skin for prolonged periods of time? Or if it was pulling off their skin as the natural nail was growing out? Luckily, my daughter didn’t have any adverse reactions to it, and her nails turned out great courtesy of her pushover mother with a type-a personality and some creative genius. We finished off the extensions with beetles gel polish, and I think they look phenomenal. She’s going on week 3 and they’re still holding on strong, which is a far cry from the last time she had hers done professionally (only lasted a week before they started chipping and breaking off). Overall, it was a good investment and gave us some good bonding time. I’m not a professional, and I took my time, so from start to finish was about 3 hours to do a full set but she was extremely happy with them. The one thing that would make this kit the bomb is if it had clippers where you could pre-adjust the length so they are all consistent. I’m not so great at eyeballing how much I cut off of each one so there was a little inconsistency in the lengths. Also, the uv light is pretty small and it’s difficult to hold someone else’s nail down under the light while it cures. I think I’m going to upgrade that piece to make it a little easier for next time.
