Terrible!
I don't typically write reviews but these shoes were horrendous. I bought them for a work event and they didn't even last the night. The inside lining of the shoes started sliding apart within the first hour. If you're looking for shoes that you want longer than an hour, look elsewhere.

Cheap, And not just the price
Shoes look okay (don't look too closely). Fit is okay. Shoe may be just a tad narrow, but certainly in acceptable range. Sole is fairly hard plastic/rubber, so they are a bit noisy to walk in. Grip seems adequate as I have noticed no tendency to slide. The question is how long they are going to last. Very light canvas. "Tongue" wants to fold under when inserting the foot. Have to hold it up while sliding foot into shoe. No padding around collar or rear, so this appears it will likely rapidly. But, what can one expect for a shoe that costs barely over $10. I miss the better made Basic Editions shoes that are apparently no longer available. **** UPDATE **** After only two months of indoor only use, the soles of both shoes has split across the ball of the foot. THESE SHOES ARE TRASH!

You get what you pay for...
These shoes, made in China, had an awful rubber smell that would not go away. Stunk up my whole house. The shoes, which were my size, we're made way too small. I wound up throwing them away due to the intensely irritating rubber smell. Spend the extra money and get a better shoe. Stay away from these.

Awful
These fell apart the first time I wore them. The insoles came unglued and bunched up after 10 minutes of walking around. Worse, they are supposed to be held in place by really sticky double sided tape; which proceeds to get stuck on everything. Your hands, your socks, anything you touch, the floor you walk on while trying to get to the sink to clean the rest of this mess off. Be prepared to spend 10 minutes scrubbing everything you touch with goo-gone to remove the sticky residue and mess caused by these shoes falling apart the first time you wear them.

Decent Shoes for the Price
Since I wear a 9 1/2, and these shoes were only in whole sizes, I knew to order a size ten rather than a size nine, especially since many reviewers were saying that these shoes were running on the small size. However, I found that not to be the case. The size ten shoes are at least a size ten, if not a tad larger, and as such, are a bit long. But for what I wanted them for, they are just fine, and the price was nice. One caveat--as is the case with most all cheaper shoes that I have bought over the years, the inner soles want to fold up and move around. I cured that with a small application of "shoe goo", I product I have used for many years. With the inner sole problem fixed, I now have an inexpensive pair of canvas kick arounds that are great for just about anything. I removed a star for not having half sizes, and not securing the inner sole properly. Other than that, they are exactly as I expected them to be.

I've had better sub-$20 shoes, for sure......
Got these as an alternative to Kung Fu shoes for wearing around the house.... wish I'd stuck to Kung Fu shoes. When I received the shoes, I was pleased to see the Easy-A brand name (I've had Kung Fu shoes from them before, well made). However, that pleasure didn't last long. The shoes fit more like a size 11 1/2 or 12-- clearly longer than most of my other size 11 shoes. I figured that since I was wearing them as house shoes, I'd accept that issue and get on with it. That's working out ok so far.... but then.....About a day and a half into wearing them, I started feeling weirdness around my heel(s). The sticky padding used to keep the insole inside the shoe had somehow crept up onto the inside wall of the shoe around the heel..... several adjustments later, and that sticky padding tape is no longer there.I'm wearing the shoes as I type, but have already ordered their replacement-- an actual pair of Vans slip ons. At least they are made to last longer than a week. I'm not saying these shoes are already falling apart-- but given what's happened so far, I'm not willing to wait. Nor am I willing to chance it on another sub $20 pair of shoes for this purpose.

A full size too small.
A full size too small. Why would a shoe manufacturer do this? These are nice looking shoes that appear to be well made. But why would a shoe manufacturer do this? There are standards to shoe sizes, and I read, OFTEN, in reviews, comments like "buy a size bigger than you need," And why would an Amazon seller bother to offer this kind of a product online, when they know they'll get many of them back and Amazon's advice to me when they issued my full refund was to NOT bother returning the shoes. So I get my money back, Amazon, as usual, got their cut from the sale, and the vendor gets screwed. All of it, for the top on down, is just one more example of the retail industry practices of today. Bummer.

A classic. Black on black is hard to find nowadays.
Light, comfy, compact. Perfect for a spare/emergency pair in the car, gym bag, at the office etc. Ever since manufacturers got hep to how fast that white sole border gets filthy and you'll need a new pair to not look like a bum, the old-timers with black "bumpers" have been almost impossible to find. Priced very competitively, too! If you like this design, don't pass these up. If you waffle between two sizes, say, 10-1/2 & 11, etc., get the larger of the two.
