Russell Athletic Men's Big & Tall Basic Short Sleeve Solid Crew Neck T-Shirt

I ordered this Russell Athletic T-shirt in Heather Grey. It’s made with 90% cotton and 10% polyester. The tag states that it’s made in Pakistan. The material is fairly thick and seems to be durable enough to last a while. I wash this shirt with a normal load of either cold or warm water and dry on regular cycle with medium heat.Measurements of 3X TallChest before wash: 31” wideChest after wash: 29.5” wideBottom before wash: 31” wideBottom after wash: 29.5” wideArms before wash: 12.5” longArms after wash: 12” longLength before wash: 36.75” longLength after wash: 35” longAs you can tell, it did shrink a good amount after washing. So the great thing about getting Big & Tall clothes, I don’t have to worry too much about it shrinking because they are much wider and longer than regular sizing. The tall shirts work much better for me since I have a long torso. I always order a larger size to allow for shrinkage with all t-shirts. After washing, the shirt definitely fit better overall.This shirt is tagless which is very nice. It does have the information on the back neck in iron-on form. I did notice that some of this peeled off after one wash. It’s not a big deal to me but want buyers to know that I experienced this. There is a Russell logo in white on the left sleeve. This has not peeled off at all. Overall this shirt is extremely comfortable and I love the Big & Tall sizing. This is great for hefty guys. I paid full price for this and no discounts were given.

I recently ordered two white 3XT(all) tee shirts and got them promptly (prime). Both were of good quality and well sewn.One shirt had a large cloth neck tag (which I immediately removed) and a small black "R" patch sewn on the lower left sleeve. I am neither especially large nor tall, but wanted a "substantial" tee shirt to amply cover my belly, and then some. This shirt came to about eight inches above my knees.The other shirt had no neck tag, but an "iron on" label to denote size and washing instructions, and it was placed in the traditional position, inside back of the shirt just below the collar. It also had a small, white "R" patch sewen on the lower left sleeve. This shirt was longer and came about four inches above my knees (I got short legs [29"]).I assume that these two shirts were made on a different day or in a different place because they were different, though both were labeled 3XT.I like them very well; so even if I look like a gang-banger, I can answer the door or go out on the deck without any pants on.

If you're reading this review chances are like me you have found great, well fitting T-Shirts near impossible to find and crazy expensive when you do come across them.On a lark I ordered two of these is black at a size 2X. The style, fit and quality are superb. Thick well dyed non clingy 100% cotton. The pocketless front and well crafted crew neck makes these ideal for tucked in under a jacket or sport coat. Worn on their own or under a vest, these are versatile wonderfully affordable well made garments.The cotton is extremely soft, not stiff at all and doesn't pill. Right of the package they are completely comfortable. I'm a big guy and like my T-Shirts long - far to often I buy tall's and they're too short, not the case here.These are long enough without looking like night-shirts! Yet also nice to sleep in.I would highly recommend this brand for price, quality and value as you're sure to enjoy them. I'll be ordering more in different colors that's for sure.

This is a well made Tee shirt made of sturdy cotton and the color is exactly as displayed in the picture.I decided to try this tall size as I am irritated when my shirts creep up and show the skin above my waste (fortunately I don't wear pants that might risk the plumber's crack). I'm not exceptionally tall at 6'5" but I figured it would be about normal length on my body. Instead I needed to check the photo. Where it hangs is just about where it does on me: just below my crotch. To me that seems more like a dress than a shirt, though it works great if I need to tuck it in. It is not what I expected but it is EXACTLY what is advertised so I really have no complaints.But be sure that you really want your shirt hanging as low as it is in the photo (unless you're over 7 feet).

Hey there, fat guy here. Here's the deal, I'm 5'9 350, I ordered the 6xl (in black) ... it's a very big shirt. The length comes to my mid thighs and the sleeves drape over my forearms. It's a thick shirt, feels like quality material. Although a bit large, I'm still satisfied with it. Whether it will shrink in the wash/drier, only time will tell. I'm ordering a 5xl in white next and will update on that.Received the white 5xl, still feels like a heavy thread material... very nice. The package read "made in Pakistan", I can't remember if the black shirt had any origin label. The size is almost the same as the 6xl in width, but is shorter by 2-3 inches.

I am a gray t-shirt fanatic. I have no idea but the material that most manufactures use for their gray items is awesome. I have probably 10 of the Wal-mart $6 4X Fruit of the Loom special that I wear every day. I decided I wanted something of better quality and ordered this one. After about a month I ordered another and will continue to order until the Walmart ones are replaced.I'm a fat guy and about 6' tall. These are long enough to cover my bulge and compensate for the butt crack that sometimes comes out when your pants start to sag. It happens to us all.All in all it has held up under washing and will be ordering more!

Well made shirts and fits well

I've owned many Russell brand t-shirts in the past and i was always more than satisfied with their product. These shirts do not match the quality I've associated with Russell. Being a larger shirt (3xl) the neck is way, way to tight! It was as if they were stitched for a medium at best. Unwearable. Ordered two at different times and didn't even unpack the second one. Sadly even if the neck fit i still would not have worn as the material is overly thick for a t-shirt. Felt like a short sleeve sweater. This is personal preference but you can feel the thickness even before putting on. I will still consider Russell but will be more cautious before ordering.

light long and white this shirt is perfect quality a1i use to buy some carhatt but this one is half price
