Setup:Extremely simple setup; very fast and easy. There are many settings and options to tinker with that can be accessed through the DVR with a USB mouse and HDMI monitor or through the simple PC software that comes with the package. Setting up the unit took only minutes and no configuration changes or router settings had to be adjusted - it just works.App:The remote viewing capabilities are plug and play through the ReoLink app and loading it up for the first time is very simple. Download the app, scan the QR code on the DVR, add the device and all the cameras are added automatically. It opens quickly and allows for different qualities of streaming video, with and without sound, allows for zooming, allows you to see between 1 and 32 cameras, and allows you to adjust many of the settings from the app as well. Never had an issue with the app and it has always just worked.Cameras:Great image quality, day and night. Never had an issue identifying someone or reading a license plate in our neighborhood. The cameras are durable and yet allow for flexible mounting and positioning. The physical installation of the cameras could be better as you have to use the included allen wrench to slightly disassemble the mounting base to access the screw holes properly but it's simple - just takes a little longer. Once installed, they are rock solid. FOV is 80* and provides good coverage but nothing compared to the wide angle of a Nest cam or Arlo camera so you may need multiple cameras to cover the same area as one Nest cam. The audio recording capabilities are fantastic and pick up sound from quite a distance and with good clarity too. Night vision is fantastic and the IR LEDs provide good coverage and throw distance.Overall:Great system, fantastic image quality, reliable app and NVR, extremely easy setup that anyone can do. Not a single complaint with the system since ordering it a few months ago.

I have used this system for about two years around the exterior of my home.The NVR has been great to store video on site, and connecting it to the internet allows me to easily monitor the video from my phone. I like that I can place "motion zones" in the areas I am most concerned about, so the false alarms are minimized. However, there have been some instances where I am certain the cameras failed to capture video. For instance, I have backed my truck into the driveway before (across a motion zone), and the system recorded nothing. As far as I know, these incidents are far and few between.The RLC-410 (bullet camera) are good cameras which have been mounted closer to the elements (sun/rain/dust) and they each have held up nicely. The construction feels sturdy and once locked into a position, they haven't moved and continue to monitor what I want (minus the occasional missed motion alert).The RLC-420 (dome camera) worked well for a while, but after about 18 months-2 years they each began to fail. These cameras are placed under a cover (patio and entryway) so they are not exposed to direct sunlight or any moisture really; however, they each failed around the same time. Both cameras just stopped working, and only showed "video loss" on the channels. I tested the cat5e cables used to connect them to the NVR, and they both passed, so I'm certain the dome cameras have simply stopped working.Overall, the system has worked well most of the time for most of what I need, but it really is unfortunate that half of my cameras failed for no reason. The price is decent for a simple home security option, but I believe an investment in reliable security should last more than two years.

Easy setup - Quick intuitive web access. Reolink is constantly upgrading their access software to include new features. This made it much easier to remotely administer our cameras while on vacation across the country.We have ordered extra cameras to augment the system because the clarity is incredible. We have been able to easily identify unauthorized visitors on our property and able to show them the evidence.The mini-dome cameras are hard to see under the eaves of our house. People have remarked that they did not see them until we pointed them out. This is perfect as I want any trespasser to come close so we can identify them easily.I have recommended this system to several friends. Simple, expandable, and easy to work with.

I have been using the 8 channel NVR and cameras for the last 6+ months. We've been plagued by neighbor hood kids knocking on the door and effing our house because my wife is an 8th grade teacher. With the cameras we've successfully identified 3 of the perpatrators by their vehicles!Installation was extremely easy due to the POE capability of the cameras and NVR. Setup was also simple as the cameras were immediately detected when they were plugged in.Firmware and software updates continue to refine and improve the user interface.Overall this is a very user friendly DIY security setup, and has capability for the power user as well. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I don't write reviews very often, but I have been more than impressed with the software, hardware and customer service of my Reolink System. I love all of the features the software offers and the ability view and change settings and make adjustments on the fly from the iPhone app or the desktop client. The installation is pretty much plug and play and any questions I have were responded to personally within 24 hours. They even sent me photo and video instructions that they shot just for me. This was a great investment and I'm happy I chose this system after all my research.

I bought this product little under a month and I think pound for pound it is an absolute bargain. The NVR sits in a safe location in my house and I have ran the cables back to it which was fun but the cameras are plug and play. The initial setup was with a HDMI cable and once I knew it had an IP I browsed to it but quickly found the desktop app which is much better. I have 5 cameras, one tamper-proof one which I bought separatly and the 4 included in the bundle. I use the 1 dome at the front and in the house and the remaining bullets high at the front and back of the house. I still have 3 more to get for both in the house and down the side but for now I am really pleased with my purchase. Aside from really easy CCTV functionality I can watch playback and I can have alerts setup which pop in my email when motion is detected. I get a lot of false positives but have a rule to put them in a folder and then empty this out. I probably haven't even touched the surface here. The 4 cameras included provide sound so you can record and listen back to sound which is great. It is not two way so you dont have to worry about accidentally broadcasting yourself. The APP loads, you scan the code on the NVR and then you can access your system from your phone which is great. I have used it both over WIFI and 3G and both provide more than sufficient viewing for a quick glance. I have emailed the support team with general questions or queries and the response is very quick. The cables are around 18M so you may need some more and I didnt bother with templates, I just drilled them straight into the woodwork and used a drill bit to get the cables through. Make sure it is a wide one and test it as I made a couple of errors where the moulded cable wouldn't push through the hole as it was too small and you dont want to re-drill when there is a CAT5 cable able the boxing that you just spent an hour running to its location.I dont know what more to say except super easy, it isnt noisy and it does more than I expected it to do out of the box. I look forward to learning what other tricks it can do such as privacy filters

Really good quality product. I have not fully installed it yet but have set it up on a bench to test it and make sure all is ok first - and it works perfectly.The software was really straightforward and easy to use - I was almost afraid to switch it on as I had heard so many horror stories about software problems - but none here so far.I researched the hall out of various cctv systems and read hundreds of reviews but on my scoring system this was the best I found. It is a little pricier than some others but for a trouble free easy to set up system it is worth it. I bought the 8 channel unit and added some soon type cameras as well so use all of the ports.I had an issue with a zoom camera and mailed the service desk - they replied with a solution within 24 hours and it worked - very helpful.I am very happy and will update if I find out any negative points but so far none.Picture is really clear and crisp both day and night dry, crystal clear.... I set it up on a 720 screen and it was good but then hooked it up to a 1080 HD screen - wow huge difference - the 4K cameras are top class - as I said,you pay a little more but get a lot more...

I have been using the Reolink system for a couple of years now and can only give praise for the product . Simple to install using POI cameras (well apart from threading cables into position - but that’s hardly a Reolink’s problem!) The picture quality is remarkable at this price point and any minor issues I have had have been quickly resolved by Reolink’s excellent product support team . I have since added two further wi-fi cameras and another 5mp. POE camera to completely cover my property , all which installed with ease . Both the Reolink Client (PC based viewer) and the iPad app work very well and I am able to view and review recorded footage from anywhere in the world with a good internet connection. I have also recommended Reolink to friends who have also installed some of their products and been delighted with the results . If I were buying again the only thing I would change is to get all dome cameras - they don’t get so much spider web attention !

I bought this system to replace an older system allready i had installed.wow i was impressed with the build quality of the system,Ease of installation,Ease of use,and the picture quality is superb especially at night in conditions of total darkness with no other lighting.I am planing to add a zoom camera for an area the is further away from the house that needs a closer image than is possible with the standard cameras.would definitely recommend this system.

Prior to purchasing this I ordered a £210 wireless system thinking it would be easier to install, which involved getting a supply to each camera - being an electrician it was no issue. after installing the system fell in and out of signal constantly so I decided to send it back and upon stumbling across this I decided to spend a little bit more and purchase this system.The system is plug and play - plug the cable into the camera and the NVR and job done. much easier than running power cables everywhere! the quality of the recording is extremely impressive, I was very surprised! The biggest thing for me is the mobile app. it works everywhere - with wifi or over 4G and doesnt take half an hour to load, open up the app and within a few seconds you can live view or view playback. would recommend this product to anyone

This kit was easy to install and the App is great. Remote viewing with 4G on iPhone is amazing I will be buying more of this kit soon

Picture quality is excellent. Was easy to set up. Was nice that could see home when in China. The mobile app works well on my Galaxy S8+. Would recommend.

buon prodotto e relativamente facile da installare se si ha dimestichezza con i piccoli lavori di casa. Purtroppo i cavi delle telecamente sono decisamente troppo lunghi e se non è possibile riposizionare il cavo RJ45 si ottiene un cavo a penzoloni che esce dalla telecamera. Una presa diretta alla base della stessa sarebbe stato una scelta decisamente migliore.Inoltre non è possibile muovere i 2 domi presenti da remoto ma è necessario posizionarli e ruotarli a mano.Le istruzioni presenti sono complete e comprensibili anche per chi non ha dimestichezza con soluzioni di videosorveglianza.Il menù di configurazione è dettagliato ed è possibile configurare l'apparato in tutte le sue funzioni principali. Purtroppo le telecamere perdono abbastanza facilmente il segnale e quindi ci sono molti falsi positivi sugli allarmi.La qualità video è buona e le foto sono dettagliate ed in alta risoluzione. Il sistema di motion detection e notturno funzionano alla perfezione.
