My collection of music CDS goes back decades, within this time span, they were played in auto CD players during both daily and vacation excursions. In today's automobiles, CD players have been replaced by digital music sources and connectivity options like Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Given that my collection contains an expansive variety of musical genres, streaming music seems unnecessary as well as an added expense just to hear music I already own. I decided to purchase a bluetooth CD player and these compact bluetooth Altec Lansing speakers in order to use my collection in our vehicles. Fortunately the player and speakers link as a threesome and sound better than satisfactory. No need for digital music streaming or smart phone integration. The speakers are more than adequate for the interior of a vehicle and are easily positioned since they are compact. The only disadvantage is both the speakers and cd player have lithium batteries that need to be recharged. Pleased with these speakers as they are inexpensive, yet their features and sound are suitable for listening to music in an auto as we discovered.

This speaker fights above it's size. It is really loud for how small it is. In fact I had it on a solid surface on our coffee table with a full plastic cup of soda near it and when I wasn't looking the bass output vibrated the cup about a foot over and dumped the cup on the floor even though the speaker itself didnt move! It has great tone with serious bass and mid range. Treble is very precise too and will match the out put from your phone or whatever your source is. It connects to your Bluetooth source quickly. It also can put on a Disco light show with choices of alternating flashing colors, a solid color or no color if you want. Be sure to read the instruction sheet in the box for all of that. A couple of reviews complain about the control buttons on top being difficult to press down and they are a bit. I solved that by just using a thumb nail to press down or you could use the tip of a pen if you want. Don't let that minor inconvenience stop you from buying this speaker as you will probably be amazed by its sound quality too.

Great sound for the price paid. Certain songs would get a big hollow but overall the sound is pretty clear and there's nice lows and highs. Just like similar small speakers there's no real bass or mids so it doesn't sound as clear or full as real monitors of course. I got two so I could connect them both and get a richer sound. The speakers will connect to each other then connect to my phone pretty easily. Unfortunately you need to connect the speakers together then connect them to the source. I find it most reliable to turn on the speakers, connect them to each other then turn on my iPhone or iPad and then connect bluetooth. I use these in my shower and I've never got them wet but I think they should be waterproof enough. Battery life seems good. I use them a few songs here and there most days and rarely have to charge them.

Really good speaker for its size. My kids love changing the colors. Decent sound for what it is. It meets my needs since I don't need a large speaker. I just wish it would charge with a usb-c to usb-c cord instead of only a usb-a to usb-c cord.

I bought one of these speakers because I wanted a small speaker to carry around with me during work, I liked it so much I bought another one when I learned you can link the two speakers on bluetooth. When you link these speakers it sounds even better than just a single speaker. You can even notice little details on songs that is hard to hear in other speakers. I have said so many positive things about these speakers, but I only gave it three stars because I have noticed that when you link them sometimes there is a connection issue and they will sound really bad for a few seconds. Pausing the song and playing it solves the issue but it will end up happening again five minutes later and its kind of annoying. I know this will be a fatal flaw for a lot of you out there. I don't know if this is a known issue with this model of speaker or if I got a defective unit. I will try to contact Altec Lansing when I have time to get to the botton of this issue. So yeah if you are buying a single speaker I would give it 4 stars but if you are buying two of them to link together I will go down to 3 stars just because of the connection issue I've had. I have submitted a video of them playing together for reference. These speakers would easily be 4.5 stars for me if it wasnt for the connection issue between two speakers Edited review: if I could give Altex Lansing 5 stars for costumer service I would give them in a heartbeat. They reached out to me and they offered to replace my speakers to see if that would solve my connection issue. Unfortunately the new pair I got still have a connection issue when they are paired together which makes me think this is an issue with this model so Im keeping my original rating. Using two speakers is such an interesting concept because when one speaker plays vocals/treble and the other plays bass drums it makes it sound really good almost like you have a small surroumd sound. If they come out with a new model that solves this issue I will buy it in a heartbeat because I really like how these speakers sound. I think it sounds even better than my harmon kardon speaker which is a much bigger/louder/expensive speaker. In the mean time I think I will give away one speaker and just keep one. I will submit another video when I catch a glimpse of the connection issue just in the hopes it can help altec lansing improve their product

⛔️ I hate to waste my money, so I'm warning you so you don't waste yours! I bought this ostensibly to use in my golf cart. I only use my golf cart once or twice a month. I don't always use the speaker. However, the speaker only lasted about 13 months before it quit! Cannot recharge it. It doesn't respond to being plugged in. Never used it in the water. It was always under the shelf in my golf cart. Either that or I would clip it to my bike while riding my bicycle. Let's suffice it to say I got very little use value out of this. And of course I'm beyond my return window. I called the Support # only to find out that it's on me now to take it to a repair shop. Homie, don't play that‼️

El sonido del audio es muy bueno, yo la uso al aire libre cuando voy en bici, la batería dura bastante tiempo; puede llegar hasta 5 horas continuas, es contra agua y contra golpes 👍

Tiene poca potencia de sonido. Batería promedio. Buen diseño y calidad de material.

Me parecía un buen producto, pero la que recibí no tiene volumen se oyé muy bajo no creo quede los 10 watts que dice tener, tengo la H2O y se escucha más fuerte, me decepciono.
