Summer Waves SFX Replacement Vacuum Plate Adapter

Works great. Only paid 15 bucks for this but totally worth it. Works on a summer waves 14ft x 42 inch pool pump. It does pop off easily and looses suction. I use a pool noodle cut to length to hold it down. It's wedged tight to the pump top lid to the suction plate. This keeps it from popping up and losing suction. Once it's wedged or weighed down with something that's not going to damage your pump or pool it suctions really great. As much as a shop vac on my pool. Would definitely buy again if needed. Overall I'm happy with this product. No more water hose vacs lol.

I needed to buy this for my above ground Summer Waves pool (14x42) so I could vacuum the pool out. It fits okay but I wish there was a way to snap it in place better. I use some rocks to hold it down so it doesn't come undone. Also, be sure to take the flap out or it will affect the suction of it.I do have a sand filter so those without one may have a different experience but the suction works pretty well. I had no issues really while vacuuming other than making sure this stays in place.I definitely think it's overpriced and wish it would've came with the pool. But I looked everywhere and you can't find it cheaper anywhere. So far though it's still holding up and hasn't broke after almost 3 months of use.

I love being able to drop this on top of the pool pump and letting it do the work of vacuuming the pool. Wish there were a way to secure it - often when I am cleaning pool it will lose connection - not a deal breaker, just inconvienent.

Simply stated, the pump/ filter for the size pool is not adequate. Though it is what's sold originally, it doesn't last. Isn't made for the size pool. Research it... I did to late

The only neg I would say is sometimes if you don't place something on top of the plate it can lift and tilt to side, so I place a small brick on top to prevent this. Happy with product and purchase. When you get all the pieces the tubing, pool pole and vacuum head this product works better than expected only wish it co establishes with the pool or purchased sooner.

I found that occasionally when submerging the hose for the first time, or catching a section of the pool liner in the bottom vacuum tool, it creates some kind of vacuum feedback on the plate, and it pops out of the filter. Which means I have to walk back behind the pool and reseat it, then walk back to the vacuum wand. This plate should fit more snugly into the filter. I will have to find some type of heavy weight to place on top of this.

It does what it is supposed to do but you have to hold it in the basket or it will float loose...
