Are these nylon strings? Why does it say gut?

Why are these clear and not black as advertised? I specifically wanted black trebles but received clear instead.

This is just Augustine's nomenclature and refers to low tension string. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with the color of the strings. If you want black colored strings, then try Ernie Ball black classical guitar strings.

Do the base string sound louder than the nylon strings? I bought a set and the base strings are significantly louder. Was this a bad set I got?

The bass strings on a classical should be real boomers. So yes.

Does it have a ball end

These are Nylon Classical Guitar Strings and as such, no they do not have a ball end. Strings that do will say so right on the package.

Encuerdé una guitarra vieja s para mi hijo, compré cuerdas suaves de nylon para que no batalle con la dureza de las mismas. Todas suenan muy bien, solo la 3a es un poco opaca, no sé si es cuestión del INSTRUMENTO, cabe mencionar que no soy experto en el tema. En general estoy muy contento, tanto que hasta yo retomé la guitarra. RECOMENDABLES PARÁ PRINCIPIANTES
