Always removing labels from glass jars. A little of this goes a long way. Works great.

I used silver duct tape to secure vinyl siding that was blowing loose in a wind storm. When I got the siding reattached properly and removed the duct tape I had an absolute MESS on my hands. There was duct tape residue and pieces of dried tape that did not peel off. I got suggestions to use WD40, gasoline, and other home brews. I didn't try the gasoline, but WD40, OOPS!, and GOO GONE PAINTER's PAL did absolutely nothing.Ultimately what REALLY worked was GOO GONE PRO POWER(...)and 3M 9489 Scotch-Brite 5" x 3 1/2" Soft Scour Scrub Sponge ... the BLUE non-scratching ones http://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Brite-3M-Non-Scratch-Scrub-Sponges/dp/B002870ABC/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1462752270&sr=8-1&keywords=3m+scrubbing+spongesI used a mixture of DAWN+water in a spray bottle and a rag to wash off the GOO GONE PRO POWER and then I power washed the siding afterwards to get the residue off. This combination literally melted the duct tape residue.Soak the duct tape / residue with goo gone. Wait about 5 minutes. Rub with the scrub side of the 3M 9489 scotch-brite ... the goo will start to come off. Repeat as needed.

It work real good. It loosen up sticky. Just wait about 1 to to minute

Product itself is good, does the job. However, to open the cap you have to press down really, really hard and turn. Also the bottle design is very poor because it is slim and tall...when using you have to store in a container (see photos) because if not, if it is open and on your workbench, the slightest jar will cause it to spill contents.

I bought this to get up sticky residue left on my carpet after pulling up pro strength duck tape (i'm a teacher, I use tape for everything) IT WORKED! It got the residue up and didn't leave a grease stain on my carpet like I thought it would do! Been using it for so many other things too, gum on bottom of desks, and shoe. tape from walls and railings, a little bit goes a really long way. I seriously just put a little bit on a paper towel and went to town, the same amount of goo gone on the same paper towel was still working half a room later. the only reason I threw the cloth away was it looked really dirty. but yeah, I only used a few drops and those same drops lasted my entire room.

Does what it says in the description of the product

There was a sticker on our dark wood TV stand when we bought it (who puts a sticker on wood!? seriously) that left extremely bad residue. I was hesitant to use this product on the dark wood, but tested it on a small patch first and nothing happened so I applied it to the sticky residue. Followed the instructions & let it sit for 10ish minutes, then wiped it off with a white cloth and it came off EFFORTLESSLY. I didn't even have to scrub. It just came off. I have to say I was shocked. I did not expect that it would work because the residue was so bad. But it did work--the area is smooth and the sticky residue completely gone. It did not discolor or damage the wood at all. Highly recommend!

This stuff is AMAZING. With residue from labels, grease - anything sticky - you can scrub and scrub and scrub with another cleaner and not make any progress, but with the tiniest bit of Goo Gone it’s perfectly removed in seconds. Literally, amazing. Every time I use it I freak out at how great it works. My husband says I should be a spokesperson. I’m in no way affiliated with them, I just love it. Do yourself a favor and buy it, have it on hand and you will use it all the time. It also lasts forever.
