The xvive t9 is a beautifully crafted 2ba iem, that has a very engaging sound!
I've been enjoying these iems for almost a week now, and I've finally figured out my thoughts enough to review it.Firstly, this iem is super easy to drive, and gets to hearing damage levels of volume very easily. So no matter what source you're using, volume shouldn't be an issue. The build quality is just ridiculous. Absolutely stunning! This level of resin build quality is usually found in iems much more expensive! Take a look at the pictures in this review, I'm truly blown away by the look, feel, and build quality on these! The included cable is good enough, but I'm a little crazy and swapped it with a yinyoo cable anyway! The included tips fit fine, but I actually found them to hurt the sound quality. These actually have a somewhat claustrophobic sound with the stock tips, and was improved massively when using different tips. I ended up using TRN T eartips, and it sounded so much better! The sound signature is definitely best described as L shaped. The bass is very prominent, and takes the mainstage. Thankfully, this has to be one of my favorite implementations of balanced armature bass I've heard. More specifically, the bass is extremely tight, and slams unexpectedly hard. The subbass is also impressive, maintaining extension and rumble even down to around 10hz. Very impressive, especially for a balanced armature!!The midrange is decent, but in general the whole midrange is overshadowed slightly by the bass. The midrange is generally soft, and non fatiguing. Vocals sound fairly good, especially female vocals in genres like Jpop. Instrument separation is also good! The only real concern is, the timbre isn't quite as natural as some other iems in the price range. The treble is another story. Well executed! Non fatiguing, and provides great detail. It doesn't do anything wrong in particular, and is generally enjoyable. My only real complaint, is that extension could be slightly better. The soundstage is fairly good as well (after changing tips). I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a "reference" sound. I think this iem is well suited to someone looking for an enjoyable listen with a focus on bass. I'm guilty of listening to these for hours on end! This set has a place in my collection!

Fantastic wireless unit for inear monitoring
I love these units. I have 5 of them. Sturdy built. Easy to swap channels if you encounter and interference. Usually there is one channel with some static but that's to be expected running multiple units with lots of surrounding wifi but it's easier fixed. I run 5 units usually on 3 to 5 different channels. I find signal dropout at lower volumes but its rarely an issue. Belt clip is metal and firm. Battery life is great. I would recommend charging after 3 hours use. The stronger the battery the stronger the signal. Fully recommended for stage and practice. My only complaint is the transmitter is a little wide at the base. This makes it difficult to plug into for mixers or consoles that have aux ports too close together. I have a small 6' wired adapter for transmitters that would fall in the middle of 3 units. Not a deal breaker. Fully recommended. Worth the price.

GREAT IEM WITH A SMALL FOOTPRINT!!
I created an unboxing video for this item to show just how small and handy it really is! I used it for the next Worship Team set on a Sunday and it did not disappoint!! We rehearsed for 3 hours with music and vocals. The batteries in this thing were strong the entire time. No dropouts, or fading of sound. U4 performed flawlessly. There was no interference from the many other wireless systems in use! I used IEM headphones that plugged right into the receiver and clipped the receiver to my pocket. As expected, the clip held fast and the receiver did not move or slip during the performance. The transmitter was used with the adapter, and it too performed flawlessly. Again, no interference and no dropouts. It was quick to plug in, and while the footprint with the adapter was a bit on the long side...it still didn't get in the way. On a soundboard, it would not need the adapter, so the footprint would be that much less. This was a very simple setup. it was truly "plug and play". The build quality is amazing. Buttons, slides and lights are all tight and sturdy. I would say that this unit will last for years. The price for this unit was far better than any other IEMs I've seen, and much much smaller...yet...it delivers a beautifully crisp, quiet audio experience. It has a gain control which is nice and comes with a LINE/AUX switch, and 8 channels to select from in the unlikely event you do get some interference. This unit operates on the 2.4 ghz frequency which is very quiet. It is a MONO only unit. In short...the unit is extremely well made, performs flawlessly and provides a true "plug and play" experience.Xvive Unboxing for Amazon.m4v

Acceptable for small venues and rehearsals
I purchased the XVive In-Ear Monitor Wireless System because at my church, we moved to the Allen Heath ME500 Person Mixers for monitoring during live performances and removed most of the wedges to reduce clutter. Since I move around too much for wired in ear monitoring, I needed a reliable wireless solution. I selected the XVive because of the price point and some positive reviews right here on Amazon. What I found was an acceptable solution, not a perfect solution. The kit comes with a transmitter with an XLR input connector as well as an XLR to 1/4 inch phone plug adapter; the adapter was needed to interface with the Allen Heath ME500. It also includes a receiver that accepts 1/8 in phone plugs for earbuds and has a fairly tight belt clip. In other words, it is not a completely wireless earpiece but removes the tethering. The system provides the ability to manually select up to six different channels as well as input signal level selection on the transmitter and a volume control on the receiver. Also included is a single USB charging cable that is bifurcated so it can charge both transmitter and receiver simultaneously. The upside to the system is that with the correct channel selected and both transmitter and receiver fully charged, I get a good in-ear monitoring performance for the duration of a church service with no noticeable latency. I am able to adjust the volume in an instant using a single finger to roll the control. The down side is that there might be interference in some of the channels due to other devices such as cell phones competing on the same frequency. Selecting a channel is easy enough once you get used to how long to hold the channel selector button on both the transmitter and reciever, but that process needs to be done while you are positioned next to the transmitter and receiver. This can be inconvenient if during the course of a performance, the need to select a different channel is required and you are not adjacent to the transmitter. Having gotten used to very high quality wireless system for microphones and other musical instruments, this is a definite challenge as the more advanced (and expensive) systems automatically detect interference and change channels as required.Since the system specifications are for a maximum of 5 hours of battery life, I found it imperative to fully charge the system before every service. I did find that 30 feet was about the limit the transmitter and receiver could be separated during a performance. At that distance, there was a likelihood of dropout after about two hours of use. My assumption is that this is because the batteries lose their ability to deliver constant power over time as the battery is drained.Considering the few quirks of the system and this particular use case, this product was worth the price. If I were to require in-ear monitoring in a large venue with other competing wireless systems of the same or type or in the same frequency band, this would probably not cut it.
