I was surprised to see this thing in action. Its easy to install, the material quality feels a bit cheap but for an interior door is great. Batteries last forever and the lock is great and works predictably without any jams. It's standard size and the lock works as advertised.

So far so good. I've long wanted a digital lock and this one doesn't disappoint. It functions exactly as a lock and knob should and is a nice quality. I like the color of it against my fern green door. It seems durable. I feel the house is more secure that having a key hidden under a mat--I can share the code with the kids and they don't need a spare key. It was easy to install (by me--a girl) and so far, the batteries have lasted just fine. I would definitely recommend it.

These locks look decent and function pretty well for locking interior doors against children, pets, visitors, etc. It's definitely a step up from standard "privacy" locks that need a little key or a screwdriver. My wife uses one on her home office, and we use another one on a storage closet where we keep (among other things) our liquor. There is an auto-relocking feature which is nice. That said, the lock mechanism is NOISY and slow. I would not use this on any door where you'd want to be able to unlock quietly (like a bedroom door). There are other options out there that are much quieter if that's a requirement.

It seemed like a good deal as the Schlage was 100 bucks more, but I guess 100 bucks is the price of having a locked door. Check it before you put in a code every time you use it as you think it is working fine. This thing I just find the door randomly unlocked even though I set it to lock every time, one out of 10 times it won't be. I can't find any reason for it, there is no binding, it works 90% of the time, makes no weird noises when I stand there and wait for it to lock it always locks but then sometimes it doesn't work and well it needs to work 100% or it is no use. I prefer the way the Schlage is always locked and it doesn't use a motor to physical turn the lock button, instead it engages a pin to allow the handle on the outside to turn the actual latch, so the only way it can fail is safe (locked) vs the amazon one can fail open (and does).

Love this lock for our owners closet at our rental property. It is durable, secure, easy to use, and the batteries have lasted way longer than I expected. I would definitely buy again.

Installed today. There are 2 codes. Programmer and user. Can't be same code. Use the little twisty pin with a ring to reverse the handle. I set to self lock after 10 seconds. Seems ok right now.

Price wise this is great. Quality and functionality wise this is not as good as the brand name Schlage units which I also have. Main drawback is that this unit uses battery power to actually turn the locking unit and is quite noisy. The Schlage unit has a switch that clicks after entering the code to be able to unlock with the lever. Minimal battery usage and very quiet for the Schlage. Amazon unit has a bulky interior mount that sits high and can actually impede installing if you have a deadbolt installed above your door handle. Also the quality seems cheaper than the Schlage.

The instruction book shared several languages all in each section. That made it a little hard to follow. I eventually got it installed and working but should have taken much less time. The lock looks great and functions well.
