SONY Xperia X Compact Case, MicroP(TM) Super Frosted Crystal Hard Case Cover for SONY Xperia X Compact / Xperia X mini / F5321 (Clear Crystal Case)

I recently got the Xperia X Compact, so I needed a case, and this was one of the few ones available on the US market at the time of the phone's launch. It's a pretty simple clear case that is accurately described in the product description, and it is polycarbonate so it does a nice job at showing your phone while offering some level of protection. The downside is it is susceptible to scratching, so keep that in mind. The case fits the phone well and the latter doesn't slide around at all. The loss of a star is due to the fact that the cutouts for the camera and laser and phase detection auto focus modules is not centered and instead is slightly shifted vertically to the left. Additionally, if your phone is face down, there is barely enough material to keep the screen off of a flat surface (and it looks pretty flush to me).Pros+ Fits and the phone doesn't slide around+ Shows off the phone+ It's affordable+ It protects the phoneCons- Camera and laser and phase detection autofocus cutouts are not centered- Doesn't really keep the screen off of a flat surface if you place it face downFor the price and the fact that the current selection of cases are fairly slim, I like this case.

Simple case to help avoid scratches with a low profile that does not make the phone fill any more or less in the hand. It is also very easy to put on and take off.

Hard to hold. Easy to drop.This is not what I want from a case.

Doesn't protect the screen very well since it is flush with it and scratches really easily, like a TON of scratches appeared on it after only a day.

The case fits the phone well. Cutouts for the volume, power, camera buttons are appropriately sized. While the case is rather unobtrusive I think it doesn't offer adequate protection over the phone's display edges/perimeter. The case just comes up to the edge of the display and sits flush to the screen. So if you were to place your phone on something, screen side facing down, the screen would touching whatever surface (not the case). I like a little bit of a buffer (raised edge) on my phone cases to keep the display more protected. Overall a decent case for the price.

I agree with the other 2 reviews here. The case fits fine and works OK. All the cutouts aligned perfectly and I have no issues there. However, as noted by other reviewers, the case doesn't extend higher than the screen so there is no protection for the front. Also, this case scratches very easily. Decent case for the X Compact. Fits perfectly and very slim so it doesn't add too much to the thickness of the phone. The shiny plastic is only marginally easier to hold on to than the phone's own glass back and picked up a lot of little scuffs, though it does the job of protecting the phone.
