Can this be used to lube wood drawers?

I would not recommend it. Oil-based. Use graphite or bar soap.

How do i open the cap? do i try to turn it? do i try to pull it off?

The cap just pulls off. There is some friction to it but if you are looking at the same picture that I see, they pop off with no problem. If you by chance have the cans with that built-in straw already attached, those you cannot take off. In that case, you just bring the straw assembly up to level and spray away. I shun those as they drip when you are finished spraying.
