I would not buy this glove unless you are sure it will fit you. There is no sizing guide. When it didn't fit and I wanted to return it- there is a 20 % restocking charge in addition to paying for return shipping! I would skip this one and find one that has free returns!

I got this for when I catch balls badly or in the wrong part of the glove. It helps greatly with that. My son is throwing around 80 right now.

My son was throwing too hard with too much movement, so this was a necessity. It works great and so far appears to be well made.

I love the padding in the index finger area ! It has definitely helped to minimize the impact from the baseball , as I use this glove inside my catcher's mitt .

As you would expect, the padded glove helps absorb the sting, but with it some dexterity/strength is compromised for a younger player (my daughter is 13).
