Size Down! I’m a veterinary student and have been a vet tech for 5 years before starting school...which means I’m VERY selective about what I end up using for my own pets. I’ve looked at dozens of booties for my pup and decided to give these a try. They look and feel like they’re going to work well!What I would suggest is sizing down when you measure/order. I measured my pup’s paws and ordered the size just under 2 inches. Which would have been secure but enough to not be tight. They came and they’re huge at almost 3 inches. I have a Border Terrier and these could probably fit a full grown Lab or Working Breed over 40lbs.I’m returning and getting a smaller size because I think these will be great boots for hot pavement, debris on hikes, and light snow.If I remember, I’ll update/re-review when the smaller ones come.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These are the first shoes we've tried, and they worked well. By the second wearing, we took him out in them and he was fine. Still high-stepping a bit, but handling them well. It took a while for us to figure out to fasten the top velcro tightly to keep them on. We have a Moyen (medium standard) poodle with very narrow "ankles" and feet. I like the thickness and tread of the soles. We live in Texas and bought them to protect his feet from hot pavement and also because cracked tree droppings get stuck in his paws when he walks. The rubber soles make a difference, there, I think. Some "warm weather" shoes have very thin soles.

Not designed with an understanding of a dog’s anatomy. These secure to the dog’s foot via Velcro, but they’re so short that the Velcro straps go right over the dewclaw. If my dog could talk, I think he would tell me that is uncomfortable.I bought these to allow my dog’s pads to heal after an injury—they worked for that purpose, but they gave him a new injury by rubbing his dewclaw raw. I’ll be looking for a new pair that secures higher up the leg.

These work great for my adult Akita. (Female) She has come to expect multiple treats for putting on shoes so she has no problem putting them on and she walks fine in them, though awkwardly because she’s still getting used to them. They’re cute, they stay on and they protect her well from hot pavement. I recommend the largest size for your lady Akita’s big paws. I’m not sure these would fit a male. It’s difficult to say how much room she has to wiggle around in them because she’s a little squirmy when you’re trying to get them on. Best to measure before ordering.

Got these because my GSD was struggling to get up on tile or wood floors. They worked great and stayed on as long as you snugged them down quite well. Unlike most boots that are a winter type, these breathe and are better for warm humid climates like Florida. Putting them on and taking them off was easy. I trusted the sizing chart and it worked well for me. Check front and rear paws for size. You may end up with one size fitting the front, and another size fitting the back. To clean them, I hand washed them and air dried. Although they said to introduce them slowly, I strapped them on, our dog took a few clumsy steps, then no further issues. Not every dog will be this tolerant, however.We later found out it was a cancerous growth in one toe that was causing the issue, not her age. After amputation, we used the boot to protect her foot when she went outside or for vet checks. She is doing great, fully healed and no longer needs them. She also learned to use the scatter rugs we put down in several different areas.Based on my experience over the years, different dogs will do better with different styles of boots. These are well stitched and constructed. They are worth a try if you’re looking for a summer boot.

The quality of these shoes is great. My Cavalier King Charles spaniel is wearing the 1.58 inch size. Her back paws are smaller, and the shoes have slipped off her feet during a walk and run, so I will probably order a size smaller for her back paws and keep the extras for when these become worn out. The soles are thick and the construction is really good, so I don’t anticipate that these will wear out anytime soon.I like the design with two rows of Velcro and that the boot is a little bit tall. I found this style of shoe stays on better than one that is not very tall and just has a single row of Velcro.Hope you’ll get these in pink!

My dogs are hardcore hikers and have to wear booties because of the rough mountain terrain. These booties have endured a lot of wear and tear, and hold up well (except one got torn off while running through the heavy brush). We live in a hot climate, but the booties also breathe well. The flap on the top makes it much easier to put on. Awkward fit on the first day, but only took one hike to break them in. The double straps make sure that the booties stay on and don't twist around. I've gone through a lot of booties, and these are the best ones I've had so far, especially for the price. Would definitely order them again.

These shoes work great. Easy to put on.My dog wore then 2xs and he realized they work no more burnt feet. He doesn't fight putting them on.I followed the instruction on how use on your dog and it went well .

me gustaron mucho porque le quedaron perfecto a mi perrita y además están muy bonitos y de buena calidad , los compre porque aquí ha estado lloviendo por dos meses seguidos y mi perrita no podía curarse de su dedo porque se mojaba la pata y con estos zapatos no se le mete el agua y no se moja su patita, se me hace un excelente producto y el precio muy económico.

Mi perro es una raza grande y comenzó a tener problemas para bajar las escaleras de mi casa debido a que se resbalaba con el azulejo. Es por eso que decidí comprarle zapatos antiderrapantes. Cuando llegó mi producto noté que la suela de los zapatos estaban un poco sucios, como si fueran usados. Sin embargo, me siento a gusto con la compra, ahora mi perro sube y baja las escaleras sin miedo a lastimarse de nuevo

Por eso decidí probar estas botas y que diferencia. Son super fáciles de poner, muy cómodas y como son de suela dura, protegen las almohadillas de vidrios, piedritas, cadillos y el calor del asfalto.La primera vez que las usó, caminaba un poco chistoso, pero a la tercera puesta ya andaba como si nada. Creo que ahora hasta corre más rápido 😅Solo hay que ajustarlas bien, para evitar que se salgan.Definitivamente volveré a comprarlas.**Actualización** Las he lavado en lavadora (dentro de una bolsa de red y en ciclo delicado, para probar) y las sequé colgadas.Quedaron como nuevas.Ya he comprado otro juego de botas, porque el velcro se acabó.A mi perrhija y a mi nos encantan. Volveré a comprarlas en cuanto sea necesario.
