This is a beautiful teapot but it is NOT a 4 cup teapot, but only two. So I ordered the 6 cup...we'll see.

I've been buying these teapots for years now, replacing the broken ones with the same. You just can't beat them for steeping a quality cup of tea. Other teapots are simply not as well designed. The steeping basket is large for good water flow between the tea leaves, and the little red tab you see sticking out in the photo provides a grip to pull the basket out of the hot water when your tea is done steeping. I put the steeper basket in the dishwasher every week or two and have had no problems. The lid has a little lip that fits into the bottom part of the cup so you can pour without the lid falling off. Note that what they call a "cup" is about 6oz, so a "4-cup" teapot will make two large mugs of tea. We use the 4 cup teapot to make tea for two every breakfast.

arrived in excellent condition. Very well packed with bubble wrap. I love the tea infuser included and its made of mesh and silicon so its heat resistant. Makes a great cup of tea.

Nice teapot. The tea does tend to run down the spout a little if you aren't careful about how you pour it. Otherwise- perfect.
