Works very well, good size and function
We borrowed an OXO Tot dishwasher basket from a relative which they'd found very useful, as did we. Their's had discoloured over time but still worked perfectly, had no damage and kept everything in place. When they had their second child and needed the basket back, we had no hesitation in buying the exact model for our continued use. As a retaining device for bottles and bottle components it certainly solves the problem of parts becoming lost in the dishwasher. The basket is the perfect size to strike a balance between the load it can take and the space it occupies in the dishwasher. We have a slimline dishwasher and don't find it a massive impact on our general capacity when in use. Since we've been using the OXO Tot basket we've had no "escapees", everything comes up clean and in good condition. Would recommend.

Fantastic product!
Fantastic little basket for getting baby bottle teats properly clean! It'll fit 8 mam teats and collars with space for a few other bits and pieces (formula scoop, baby spoons etc) most bottles are now dishwasher safe so save yourself some time (and your hands from dry skin!) and chuck them in for a fast wash. I tend to run a rinse program afterwards just to be sure there isn't any detergent left on the bottles buy it's probably overkill!

This basket is also useful for washing small items such as bottle caps and test tubes in a laboratory
This solves the problem of washing all those oddments that would otherwise have to be washed by hand or end up strewn (and possibly broken) all over the inside of our labware washer, and it can take the temperature without deforming too. It was difficult to guess the size of the holes from the photographs, but they will contain the smallest commonly used size of plastic volumetric (5-10mls) stoppers, although test tubes of less than 1cm diameter may fall through the holes, and I usually block the end slots with a larger item such as a bottle cap - Duran bottle caps fit well. I ordered 2 of these baskets for work, and find them indispensable when I want the items to stay upside-down in order to ensure that they rinse and drain adequately, which is not always possible in my dedicated small item labware-washing baskets.

(Sort of) suitable for Dr Brown's bottles
I bought this dishwasher basket after spending weeks handwashing Dr Brown's bottles which have lots of different parts and take a long time to clean properly. It's difficult to spend so much time washing bottles so often with a young baby, on top of all the sterilising/making up bottles/laundry/entertaining baby, so I started putting the Dr Brown's bottles in the dishwasher. I didn't think a basket would be necessary and put the bottles in the dishwasher without one - big mistake. It worked fine for the first few runs, but then while we were out, one of the parts fell through the top rack and because of this the dishwasher got stuck - we came back to six ruined bottles which had been dyed red from the red bit in the middle of Finish dishwasher tablets. We purchased 8 new Dr Brown's bottles - not cheap! I started looking for a suitable dishwasher basket to contain the small parts after this and stop them from flying around the dishwasher during a cycle and chose this one. It's fine, but unfortunately, the parts of Dr Brown's bottles don't fit perfectly, as you can see in the photos I've added. It's advertised as being suitable for bottle parts and vent tubes - Dr Brown's are the only bottle brand I know with vent tubes so I assumed they would fit. There are raised holes at each end of the basket with a hole in the lid to store the vent tubes upright, but Dr Brown's vent tubes don't fit - as you can see in the photos, the top part of the tubes is too wide, so the lid of the basket won't close. If you close the lid first, the vent tubes don't reach far enough into the basket to be secure. If you put them in the other way up, with the large part at the bottom of the basket, you can only fit two vent tubes at each end and have to hold them in place until you have closed the lid otherwise they fall over. I just close the lid and then pop the vent tubes in so they're not secured, and hope they don't fly out during a cycle. I've attached photos of how I load the basket to give other people with Dr Brown's bottles an idea of what they can fit in - 8 teats in the lid, 8 green vents, 8 green vent tubes, a couple of white bottle collars and a few dummies. All of the white collars wouldn't fit (or it would be too full for the dishwasher to be able to clean all of the parts properly) , so I put these in the dishwasher separately, as you can see in the photos. The bottles themselves and the lids also have to go in the dishwasher separately. I've added a photo of the basket in the dishwasher - as you can see, it takes up almost one half of the top rack, but I put the bottle tops alongside it. The 8 bottles and basket of parts take up the whole of the top rack. I put our other plates, bowls etc on the bottom rack (making sure that I rinse them first to avoid any staining of the bottles!) And put the dishwasher on once a day - it saves so much time handwashing the bottles. I just rinse each bottle and load it in to the dishwasher after its used until the dishwasher is full and then put it on, and it's easy to load the bottles into the steriliser straight from the dishwasher when it's finished. I like the fact that both sides of the lid open so you can get parts in and out easily and it doesn't tip up. I've used it everyday for the last month or so and it's been really useful and I'm glad I bought it - I wish I'd had it from the beginning. The only slight negatives (and the reason for 4 stars rather than 5) are that the vent tubes don't fit perfectly where they are supposed to, and the cost of the basket seems expensive for what it is - but it's still perfectly usable and I suppose if I'm using it daily its value for money. Overall, I would recommend to anyone using bottles - especially Dr Brown's.

Great product!
Really happy with these baskets as they do what they say on the tin - keep all the little bits from flying over the dishwasher! We use MAM anti-colic bottles which have a lot of parts but found with a bit of stacking we could fit the parts of 4 bottles in one of these. This doesn’t include the main bottle cylinder, I just put those on the top rack loose. We go through about 7 bottles a day so I use two of these baskets and they fit well in my dishwasher whilst leaving enough space for other things on the top rack.

Pleased with it
Bought this as was fed up of fishing bottle teats and other small items from the bottom of the dishwasher. It is sturdy. A bit pricey but saves my back bending over and pulling out the bottom rack of the dishwasher to find the small items that previously used to fall.

Expensive for what it is, but worth it
I have 19 month old and I got sick of washing up bottles and dummies and sippy cups and calpol syringes. So I bought this so I could shove it all in the dishwasher. It has been a lifesaver. I went with this one because it looked more sturdy than the cheaper versions and I wanted it to last. Would definitely recommend

Very useful for small items in the dishwasher
Very useful for washing small pots, lids and utensils in the dishwasher so they don't get lost in the melee of the top rack. Slotted easily into our machine. Good quality materials. The colour is a dark orange rather than the red in the photos.

Se compró para poder lavar en lavavajillas objetos pequeños, específicamente chupones, accesorios de mamilas,y popotes de vasos de bebé: muy recomendado porque no se les salen las cosas.

I have used other dishwasher baskets and this is the best one. Love how big it is so it fits everything nicely. The straw holder is great because in other baskets i owned it was held up by four little tabs which end up breaking off after awhile and oxo one holds it in place with an indent and insert flap. Better to spend a little bit extra on this than buying cheaper one over and over again.

No baby products here, but purchased this product to provide a safe dishwashing holder for refillable cups (such as Ekobrew) for Keurig K-Cup coffee brewers and similarly small items. Since I only run my dishwasher about once a week I have a number of these refillable cups, which are supposed to be washed periodically in the dishwasher for best results. I was concerned that these small plastic items might slip through my dishwasher top rack and end up lodging too closely to my dishwasher's heating element, and therefore examined a number of dishwasher basket products to see which would work for my needs.. It turns out that with a minor modification the OXO no-tip dishwasher basket is the ideal holder for up to 9 of the excellent Ekobrew or similar refillable cups. In order to line up the cups and keep the lids propped open to allow for effective interior cleaning I simply snipped off the interior row of both sides of the lower lid shelves with a pair of sheet metal snips. This allows me to line up the cups in 2 back-to-back rows with the lids raised to full upright position in the middle of the basket and then snap closed the hinged lid to prevent them from moving. The modified inner shelves keep the lids propped upright and prevents the cups from moving around in the basket. The basket itself sits perfectly in the glassware part of the upper dishwasher rack, neither moving around nor taking up unnecessary space. The result? Clean refillable cups, better tasting coffee, easy dishwasher placement and no worries about harming the dishwasher or cups. And yes, I did consider patenting this invention but figure it's better off being in the public domain and now unpatentable. So wake up OXO and Ekobrew, and think about providing whole product solutions for your categories...
