Get the sleep you need fast & stay asleep longer with the sound-reducing & Hibermate sleep mask. Product Benefits: The Hibermate sleep mask is a super-comfortable (please adjust the size so that the mask fits comfortably; see instructions), luxury eye mask with removable ear muffs especially designed to be slept with. It makes a great gift! The ear muffs - a classic donut - are made from flexible, medical grade silicone (some pressure on the ears is necessary to reduce noise). The Hibermate mask features 2 very soft and easy to adjust 12mm (1/2 inch) bands for easier adjustability, the straps will NEVER lose their 'stretchiness' and are designed to help the mask and cups to stay in place all night long (the bands need to be adjusted to fit on the head when worn for the first time). Note: The Hibermate can cause some discomfort if you sleep on your side for extended periods, it's better suited for back or front sleepers. Great if you’re travelling, meditating (sitting upright) or resting (lying down). Helpful if you're a shiftworker, or about to travel, or simply if you're trying to sleep in noisy situations. Please note, although more comfortable, the Hibermate is not as effective at reducing noise as ear plugs or industrial, hard plastic ear muffs. It's super-important when wearing the ear cups to try and ensure they're sealed against your skin. If you have long or thick hair, try and place the cups underneath your hair as best you can. Like on all ear muffs, cups placed over thick hair will let lots of sound through. We've tried to strike a balance between comfort and sound blocking with the Hibermate! All aspects of the new Hibermate Generation 6 have been proudly conceived by USA & Australian design partners.

Definitely not for me but might be right for you, this is just my honest opinion.
The good:100/100 for presentation! The mask really does block all light. The bad:Sadly that's the only good thing I found about this item since they are so uncomfortable. The design means they add a lot of pressure to your face and ears. I have another mask I love that is super light so the big difference in pressure and weight is very uncomfortable. They listed it as noice dampening but I had a full conversation with my boyfriend sitting right by me. It's a couple days before the fourth of July, so my neighbors are setting off a bunch of fireworks, this doesn't help to dampen that either. The earmuffs make such a minute difference it's not worth how uncomfortable they are.My advice:Get a more comfortable eye mask, blackouts, and turn on youtube for white noise.I'd say try these out if you want to, hopefully you have more luck then I did.

Not worth it
I tried these for a snoring partner. They didn’t help one iota. Also not a great mask design. I prefer an eye mask that is convex so eye lashes don’t touch. The seal wasn’t that great and light could easily creep in.

Everyone needs one!
If you want the best power nap you need this! I also bring this on every vacation bc my husband snores and it helps me sleep. The earmuffs can slide so you can sleep on your side comfortably. Ive gotten this as a gift for a lot of people too and they have had the best naps!!!

Ok
The product is ok, was delivered as expected. Other than that, isn't great for what it's meant for but does somewhat work.

Soft & comfy; a bit tricky to adjust the 1st time; effectively blocks all light, most sound...
This is a very high quality sleep mask + ear muffs. I ordered it for my daughter who is working nights and sometimes it can be pretty noisy in our neighborhood during the day while she is trying to sleep, so I thought this would be just the ticket to help her block out light and sound. At first, she had a little difficulty adjusting it -- but it turns out she was just being too careful. I didn't have any problem adjusting the mask to various lengths that should fit just about anyone. There are two adjustable straps (really just elastic bands with sliders at opposing ends) that extend from the sides of the eye mask and travel through the ear muffs. If you look at one side of the eye mask, the straps form a "Y" and the top band enters an opening at the top of the ear muff and exits via another opening about an inch away. And the lower band enters an opening at the bottom of the ear muff and exits via another opening about an inch away -- and the same thing on the other side. So, each ear muff has four openings. Perhaps people having trouble adjusting the length are simply not pushing the slider through the ear muffs...it just takes a little coaxing and voila! The straps lengthen and a perfect fit is achievable.Unfortunately, even after getting the adjustment just about perfect, my daughter said that while the mask easily blocks all of the light, it doesn't really have much of an effect on sound. However, when I tried the mask, it did indeed block light very effectively and the ear muffs created a seal over my ears and sound was immediately dampened. I could hardly hear myself when speaking (my family said that it would be a blessing not to be able to hear me) and whereas all sound was not blocked it was muffled enough to allow me to sleep. It even has a percussive effect so if I can't sleep I can always entertain myself by tapping on the outer portion of each ear muff! There is no pressure or discomfort if the mask is adjusted properly. The mask is quite large, but there is a baffle along the bottom edge so it doesn't cover the nose or feel hot or suffocating. I find the mask comfortable and very effective if I am sitting up or lying on my back. As a side-sleeper this would probably take some getting used to, but I think I could do it for the sake of better sleep. I can't tolerate ear plugs, so the ear muffs would be great for me. This eye mask/ear muff combo arrives nicely boxed and ready for gifting. It also includes a storage bag. I think it is well made and definitely worth the rather high price (currently $59.90).

Blocks Both Light and Sound
If you have ever spent time in a hospital you'll understand the need for a sleep mask (and earplugs). I recently had surgery and had to stay overnight. My bedroom at home is dark, with blackout curtains, a stark contrast to the bright lights of my hospital room. The ear muffs do not completely block all sound, more muffling - which was sufficient.I have tried several over the years, while traveling, this one actually stays put yet isn’t tight. This combo is prefect and comes with a cloth storage bag.\\\...Recommend...///

Works well for me, comfortable and well-made, albeit pricey
This eye mask with ear muffs works well for people who have trouble sleeping because of light or sound. It does a pretty decent job of blocking the light out and attenuating the sound. It helps me fall asleep easier and wake up less frequently in the the middle of the night due to sound from the local traffic. This is pretty lightweight and comfortable to wear. The mask is made of soft, fairly breathable and blackout fabric and is lightly padded. It is a nice size without being too large to cover your entire forehead, or too small to let peripheral light in. The ear muffs are comfortable and rest over the ears. They are removable by unthreading the head band that is passing through them. The head band is elastic and adjustable. While these ear muffs are comfortable to ear, they may not work for side sleepers. They have a certain width and could press against the side of head if you sleep on the side. I mostly sleep on my back and they work great. The are light on my ears and don't bother me at all. Neither does the eye mask which is soft and comfortable. This arrives in a nice retail box as depicted in the product picture. It would work well as a gift for your loved one or for yourself. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this eye mask. It is comfortable and works well as advertised. It has a quality feel to it as well. The price is a little high though. Worth checking it out anyway. It gets the job done.

Work great
I sleep with in ear headphones playing Audible books as I fall asleep, and these are great for added noise isolation and keeping me from getting sore ears from laying on one side too long. My one complaint is that tightening them sufficiently causes the eye mask to buckle in the middle which rubs against your eyes. I've had an eye injury in the past caused by an eye mask doing this and forcing my eyelids open, so it's very concerning.
