Glasslock Food-Storage Container with Locking Lids and Microwave Safe - Rectangular 14 Ounces

I am hooked on Glasslock Food-Storage Containers with Locking Lids. They more than double the refrigerator shelf life of stored foods and they keep the flavor of the foods better than any plastic product. They comes in a wide variety of sizes and I have specific sizes to store certain foods, like sliced cheeses and cubes of butter. I have tiny Glasslock container sizes for foods that I prepare and freeze to put in an omelet or add to dishes for color or flavor. They go from the freezer to the microwave and can be used to serve in. I typically cook large dishes and freeze portions in Glasslock containers so my family has something different each day. Glasslock containers are reasonably priced and last a long time.

I've been using this product for about half a year now, and they work great, except they are not liquid tight. When transporting lunches, these always leak, even if they have very little jostling on a short commute to work. I would never carry these in a bag where they might be turned upside down or have significant movement, I would be very afraid of the spillage. Great if you are storing items in the fridge, really poor design for snacks or lunches at work.

Not only will they have a longer shelf life than the standard grocery store plastic containers and not subject my family to possible plastic contamination - cleaning so much easier - just a rinse usually - no dishwasher needed. AND no leaking food into the lunch bag - soup stays put. Wish I'd bought them sooner.

I have ordered 6 of these total. Great for people who don't want to use plastic containers in a microwave. Fits enough food for a full meal. DO NOT MICROWAVE THE LID!

Perfect. We moved to glass and this is excellent little size. I've had four brands of "glass lock and Lock" and this is tops!
