Surprisingly good for homemade bullion and freezing eggs
I've got one of those really old fridges with one shelf for food and no shelves in the freezer, just the bottom. Anything I store in it has to be square or it takes up too much space. Any storage bowl that is rounded will slide off of the one it's on top of every time, fall open and crack, so I LOVE Ziploc freezer square and rectangular "bowls." (They also don't melt easily, very high melting point. I'm impatient to freeze soon after baking, so shoot me.) They do discolor a bit, it changes with the spices used, how you wash, dish detergent, etc. (I use a mix of Ecos and Dawn Blue for the best results.) I use these tiny rectangles to store bullion in my freezer, which I make every time I bake certain dinners with lots of leftovers (by baking them with a lot of fresh and frozen veggies and spices). These little rectangles are perfect for bullion or four eggs, if you also freeze eggs for later use for sunny side up or over easy eggs (hard yolk). I'm sure they're good for already scrambled eggs before freezing too. I was afraid these Ziploc rectangles would fall over in my freezer or skitter off each other like the rounded bowls do, but they don't. They stack very cleanly and nicely. Solidly. You could put two small drumsticks in one of these, maybe half a breast, and that's two dinners or three sandwiches right there. They're perfect for these types of small helpings. I wonder why I wasted so much time trying to get the other sizes. You do have to be careful about cleaning a square bowl. I don't have a dishwasher, so that's not an option. What I do is fill my plastics half full with sudsy water and throw a CLEAN dishcloth (every time) inside (stacks of dishcloths are cheap), put the lid on, and rattle, shake and roll. It's usually clean when I'm done for a good rinse, better than a dishwasher. I get to rinse off all the detergent scum (I run my water slow and turn it off during the washing stage(s)). This ensures that I'm not eating anything from a past meal in the present ones, which I've figured out is why the industry insists on rounded, useless plastics.

Excellent for freeze and release
I have been using these and wasso pleased to find them online. I am constantly using them for chicken broth, tomato sauce, leftovers. I freeze the product and then transfer it so I can reuse. I run water for maybe a minute over it until, by pressing two thumbs into the bottom, the block releases and drops out. I can fit 9 of these one cup blocks into a freezer box so it's super handy. I do the same with the half cup size and the square 2 cup size.
