We have a loft bed with a desk and bookshelf on the lower half. I put these up to add some light because it was very much needed. I do have a desk lamp but that worked perfectly fine only for working at the desk. The bookshelf and the rest of the are was dark. Putting these up is a hassle very rightfully so, because it is super long and little stars get hooked on everything including other stars. I put it up it looked amazing, bright enough chill and even read in that zone. I know LEDs have kind of like a milage system and after a certain amount of hours being used it stops working and becomes unfixible. So I turned it on only when I sat in that area, for the rest of the time those lights were off. The remote control is a cool touch, just too bad you have to always point it at the end where the lightstring plugs into the electrical. You can't just randomly press a button on the remote and waiting for the signal to just find its way. So after 4 months of using it part time it just stopped working. I changed the battery on the remote, I plugged and unplugged the lightstring a few times, nothing helps. So now I took it all down, and trying to go star by star to find the 1 that maybe burnet out and is holding back the rest. No luck so far. Also I've never done anything like this before so I don't even know what I am doing, and the lights didn't come with any extra tiny bulbs in case something like this happens and replacement is needed. So even if I find the burnt-out star there is nothing I can replace it with. Overall verdict do not buy. Not worth it.

I bought three strands for my classroom. I love that they can all be turned on/off with the same remote. However, after 3 months, two of my strands stopped working all together. Huge bummer.I contacted customer service and they sent me two replacements quickly.I love the look of these lights and the quality when they are working. It’s a good buy overall. Especially since if anything goes wrong you can be assured that the company will make it right.If my replacements work longer than the defective ones then I’ll definitely buy again.

I bought those a few months ago&they suddenly stopped working. I messaged the company explaining what had happened over their reg website email. I must say this was one of the quickest replies for service. I gave them my order number&address&was sent a replacement quickly.

Since I’m used to most Christmas lights being of similar design, I probably glossed over some of the description. Make sure to read the fine - or missing, print.Cons...There is no AC plug, but rather a USB port - initial thought is that may be limiting - see below. Plus, these cannot be connected to each other, so they’re only able to be used individually. Finally, while they’re described to be outdoor, the USB connection cannot get wet - could be hard to pull that off.Pros...The lights are great - colorful, bright and 11(?) nice display options. Has a remote, which selects the different display options, but has several timer and dimmer options, as well. And while the USB plug issue can be a pain in the a**, you can also plug it into a phone charger without needing an extension cord or outlet.Overall, nice lights, nice options, but disappointed that 1.) the outdoor application is somewhat limited and 2.) they can’t be connected to each other.

Got these for Christmas. I put them up in my dining room and can’t wait to move outside to the patio when it’s warmer

love the variation on these lights, not only are you able to change the color but also the timing settings. These are made well and have a sturdiness to them other lights I've tried don't. I love the warm white, I wove some rose flower garland through mine and hung around down and around my staircase railing for spring. I've had them up for about a month and they work great, and got a bunch of compliments on them at easter dinner.

These lights are so cool! They don't get hot, you can change the dimness and the color scheme and the remote is awesome! For $11, I would definitely buy these again!
