Well made, but a bit off.
Really well made. They work fabulously and hold a lot. I especially like the wide mouth as it lets me get my large chinks of sodium out with ease instead of fighting to get the chunks through a smaller opening. That said, the alignment of the top is a bit off. Like the threads were a bit crooked when they were formed. It doesn't affect the seal as the whole thing is like that, so it still seals great! It's just a little aesthetically eye catching. But you don't notice it unless you're a perfectionist like I am. I thought I had the threads crossed at first, tilting the lid. But nope, that's just how they're made. It is no problem and doesn't affect anything at all. It just looks a bit funny is all. If it did affect anything, I would have given less stars. But they're still a 6 star product, regardless. Glad to have and use them! I also got the 1iter versions and they are the same way. But it doesn't matter as it affects nothing. Just looks funny is all. I highly recommend both products for labs, storing ingredients at home and for general use. Perfect storage for the everyday items, as well as laboratory chemicals, elements and reagents! Highly satisfied!

Thin glass and unreliable lid
I bought the bottle to mix some salts in boiling water. I bought this bottle particularly because of the low thermal expansion glass (Pyrex like) and wide mouth. At arrival, the bottle felt delicate because of the thin glass wall unlike comparable Pyrex bottles, and the flimsy lid. At use, it proved to not serve my purpose because the lid cannot tolerate the heat the same way the glass can. While the glass doesn’t crack at high temp, the lid expands and is unable to contain any liquids while they are still hot. The manufacturer should choose a lid material with low thermal expansion, comparable to that of the glass so the function is maintained while working with hot liquids.

Nice product, easy to mistake quantity
I thought I ordered one item and got three. I wish I only paid for one since I only needed one. I guess it's too late now. Read the product description and make sure you know how many you are getting.

Nice bottle
The lid is a little flimsy, you can "jump" the threads ifyou twist hard enough with your hands.

Sturdy with wide cap
Seems very sturdy! The caps seems huge which are unexpected. Lab quality. I bought them to collect tiny parts for my daughter but my wife started to put in nuts :-)

Glass is thinner than expected, the lids sit unevenly, and they leak a little...
I got these to easily store my alkali metals in so they would have a nice matching set of containers. And while it's a very convenient size, the lids sit very unevenly (on all 6), and they will leak slightly if I tip them upside down. Not a terrible purchase, but I probably wouldn't have gotten them if I had known they were lower quality. Also, the lids are flimsy as heck. Pretty thin - Nothing like a typical GL45 type lid.

bottle cap leaks and NOT heat resistant borosillicate glass, shattered on stovetop
I tested this glass on my stove top after receiving it by boiling some water, about 10 seconds after the water started boiling the glass bottom exploded everywhere.Tested a different bottle to see if they are leak proof, they are not, if you flip them over and turn them right side up the water will pour out.I am happy I didn't boil acid in these because it would have been dangerous.I will test sulfuric acid and corrosive salt resistance in this next while inside of my polypropylene bin; will update.DO NOT RECOMMEND**UPDATE**Gave one extra star because it is fairly acid and base resistant and the cap says 140°C on it. This description needs to include that this glass is only good to 140°C and it is not standard lab borosilicate
