Hoover WH00015 Hard Floor Cleaning Solution, SteamPlus Multi-Floor 2X Concentrated Formula, 32 oz

I made a mistake when first using this. More does not always mean better. Do not use this full strength. Dilute as specified. If you don't, you will leave streaks on your floor.I have decided to add the following to all my reviews:Beware! Some "reviewers" will trash a product for no reason simply because they are paid to do so or because they sell competitive products. Other "reviewers" will give products - that they have never seen and never used - glowing 5 star ratings - for a fee. Some honest reviewers do not understand what a product is for or how to use it and will trash a product simply because they are just plain dumb. And the biggest of companies have been fined for hiring an army of “reviewers” to review their products.

I am using this in my Steamplus electric mop and it works great. My floors have never been so clean. The product is scented, but I do not smell it and I am very sensitive to smells. I have tile flooring, and this product is getting it perfectly clean, it dries quickly and leaves no residue. Very important as I have a toddler and 3 cats! Also, I set the mop on high cleaning, and do not dilute the cleaning solution in the mop, as to get maximum cleaning per the product directions. I go through 2 "containers" of water on the mop just cleaning the kitchen, and I was surprised at how long the cleaning solution is lasting. I am very pleased with this product and will be purchasing it again!

The product cleans well in our Hoover TwinTank Disinfecting Steam Mop - WH20200 and leaves little to no residue on the general clean setting. This cleans up dog messes off of hardwood with ease and leaves a more pleasant smell. That being said I'm not sure I would call the scent a "soothing almond aromatic fresh scent." It seems like they made the product and decided it smelled kinda like almond. The smell isn't bad, but still smells a bit like a cleaning solution. Overall, we will definitely continue using it to clean the kitchen, bathrooms and the rest of the hard surfaces in the house.

So I have a few issues with this detergent. I use it on my Hoover Twin Tank Steam Mop.1. I can't find this stuff at the store, any store. I am also not aware of a generic version, if anyone knows I'd appreciate a heads up.2. Despite being a concentrated solution, it still depletes incredibly fast. A bottle lasts me about 8 tanks, 10 to 12 cleaning sessions, on 'light mode' or whatever the lowest setting is on my model.3. As others have mentioned it leaves the floors a bit sticky for a few days after washing the floors.4. Lastly, for as quick as my mop burns through it it is considerably expensive. Over a dollar per tank (er, half tank [diluted with water])32 oz sounds like it may be a lot, but just for reference a soda bottle is 20 oz. Picture 1 and a half of those and that is the amount of solution you get for some 14 bucks, if you have Prime or are ordering 25$ worth of stuff from Amazon otherwise add shipping to that price.I'd be a lot happier if I could find it locally, it was cheaper, and it lasted longer/bigger bottle. For now I limit my use to about once a month just because it's expensive and the aforementioned stickiness.With everything said I still do appreciate the idea of my floor getting a wash with detergent.

Tip: a little goes a long way. I made the mistake of filling the cleaning solution tank with undiluted cleaner and mopped my white tile floor (almost entire downstairs) with the steam button pressed down the entire time. Needless to say, my floors were coated and sticky. It took three cleanings with a regular mop (hot water and vinegar) and two steam cleanings (no cleaning solution -- just water) to get the stuff off. I learned that you are not to keep the button pressed the entire time you are cleaning: oops! Anyway, this product got up marks and dirt from our white tiled floor that had been on there for years -- I thought it was permanent. I would highly recommend. However, dilute with water in the cleaning solution tank.

I've only used this once. My floors were pretty bad. So I thought it'd be best to use this instead of JUST steam. And I thought It worked really well. You mix equal parts of it with hot water NOT BOILING! The nice thing is there's people in this house VERY SENSITIVE TO CLEANING PRODUCT SCENTS!! And this product they say has a slight / mild scent of something...can't remember what. But I couldn't really smell it. So that was WONDERFUL!!!!!I'm very happy with this product. I could tell that - when my floors aren't as bad off next time, I'm going to cut the mixture of cleaner a little. Using more water than cleaning product, instead of equal. And I know it'll clean perfectly! Enjoy everyone!

I've used it 3 times so far in my Hoover Twin Tank steam cleaner. Even though steam cleaning with water is advertised to kill 99% of bacteria, I like the added assurance of Hoover's cleaning solution mixed 50/50% with water for tile floors in kitchen, bath rooms, and cat's room with litter box. It smells good, too. The 32 oz. size is more economical than smaller sizes, but I'm keeping track of how many uses this first bottle will provide before I decide whether the value is worth a reorder.(Hoover's directions caution against using other products in the Hoover machine, but I'm on alert for competitors claiming to have a lower priced comparable solution that's compatible with Hoover machines.)
