Style Edit Root Touch Up Spray, Auburn, 2 oz

This spray performs way above expectations. Covers up grays that start coming in 3 weeks or so after I get my hair colored. Blends in perfectly. If it gets on your skin or fingers, it washes off easily and it dries on your hair almost instantly and stays on until your next hair wash -- there's no need to reapply on Day 2. After trying various powders that were messy and looked terrible, I am super happy to have found this product!

This is a very fine product. I have been using it for years when my roots start to peak through before I can get to my hairdresser. I got this at a good price. My only issue is that I ordered the wrong color! I usually use and order Dark Brown. Unfortunately I mistakenly chose Auburn ??? I have NEVER had Auburn hair in my life!!! I am trying to return it now. Wish me luck!

I have used this product for years for touch ups between salon appointments. I love that this color is perfect for Auburn hair. As a natural red head it is nice to have a touch up spray that goes with my complexion. My hair is primarily white now. Being able to cover the white stripe between appointments to restore my hair color is very important. The product will stay in for a couple of days without washing. It takes a couple of washes to fully wash out. 1st wash lightens but it still covers. A lot of companies ignore the color needs for natural red heads. If a company actually offers touch up for auburn hair the color is to dark or have a burgundy hue. They are designed for people with naturally dark hair color that have augmented it with Auburn colors and are too dark.

Once upon a time my hair was red. With chemical help it is still red :)) Unfortunately what comes out of my scalp is very white and my hair grows rapidly. In the final week in the time between salon visits the roots are as different from the rest of my hair as the stripes on the American Flag. NOT GOOD. I broke down and asked my beautician if there was any temporary hair color to tide me over. She mentioned that there were spray on powder dyes available, but did not want to promote anything that cut into her own profits. I read many Amazon reviews and chose this product. I don't know how it works - but it is awesome at covering the roots. I do have the following comments/thoughts for anyone considering this spray: CONS: 1. It is a tiny bottle, and it takes a lot of spray even to cover just the top of the head roots. If you shampoo your hair often this could be a problem. Don't know yet how many applications I will get from one bottle. 2. The color is a very brown red which works for me, but would be too dark if your hair is anything lighter than the color of a used penny. 3. It is a little hard to get the right amount of spray. The applicator top takes some oomph to depress which makes it spray too much in one spot. I finally was able to press and immediately release which provided short bursts which worked great. 4. Made my scalp itchy on the second day. Nothing horrible but noticeable. 5. The hair does feel gummy where the product has been applied. You can't see the difference but you can feel it. PROS: 1. Gave me a seamless look. Could not tell that any product had been used. My very observant husband who could spot a needle in a haystack was also impressed. 2. Absolutely does not rub off on anything. 3. Dries rapidly. 4. Covers very well. I will definitely buy again.

The product is easy to use and works very well to conceal gray at the roots.

ALMOST heaven in a bottle. First off I will say that I have naturally dark brown almost black hair but I dye it dark reddish brown to conceal my salt and pepper hair. I start to have grey hair pop up literally a week and a half after I dye my hair and it shows a lot right on my front hairline! Now I started with a can of the dark/medium brown bottle and boy was it BLACK! The spray is a powerful aerosol so u might wanna test it out on ur hand first to get the feel of it. The best thing about it is if u get it on ur skin it rubs right off but I till lay a tissue up to my hairline to make cleanup easy. It covers up my greys amazing! It made my roots really dark but I wasn't expecting a perfect match and it helps that my normal hair regrowth is dark anyways so it just looked like natural regrowth (which is soooo much better than that annoying salt and pepper hair)!!! I have been using it everyday for the past two weeks and I still have a lot left in the bottle so this lasts a long time (you really get your money's worth). I just ordered a light brown and a red/auburn color to test out to see if any of the other colors match a little bit better or maybe a little mix and match since I have bother red and brown in my hair. I worried about the color coming off on my white sheets but to my surprise it didn't rub off on anything. I wear cloth headbands around the house and it didnt rub off on them either. My hair stayed colored throughout the day..which leads me to my minor downfall. I used this product everyday because I have to wash my hair everyday. The shampoo washes some of the product out of my hair but the places where I used the product remained waxy and greasy after a thorough washing and drying. I tried washing with baking soda, head and shoulders, and even washing it multiple times. I finally washed it with dawn dishwashing liquid and it seemed to have worked. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I love this product and I would recommend it to anyone that needs a quick touch up. I will def be repurchasing in the future!

Works great on grey hair adding color and shine.

Style is much better than the other products out there on the market. When you sprayed on your head and you sweat, it's not as running, they all run somewhat, especially if you working in the garden under the hot sun but for the most part, it's pretty decent compared to some of the other sprays out there. I pay a little extra for it, but I like it a lot better. So it's well worked for me. It's not as messy either and it covers my grays and my thinning spots on my head that need some extra coverage. It also gives me the look and feel of very full head of hair.

Good coverage on grey roots, but the auburn/red is way too dark, more on the dark brown side than red.

Product is excellent. A good natural looking dark auburn. Once dry it doesn't come off on your hand. Sprayer has small opening so you can be very precise in applying.

this product is not as labelled or as described, At all. It is a very very very dark brown, not even close to the Auburn. it instantly coloured the Gray. on the package, it states that it is colour adoptive and not smoothly adheres to the hair and self adjust to perfectly match, providing a lustrous natural shine.

I ordered this product- colour- red/auburn. That colour that arrived was a very deep red. When I applied it to my roots it looked -very dark brown. I am unable to use it and very disappointed. Also it was a waste of money. You should be precise when you name your product colour.
