Some modification required
Overall, the carburetor that came in this kit was a massive improvement over the old carburetor that was on my Husqvarna tiller. The tiller now starts after just one or two pulls. That being said, I did have to do some small modifications to fit my tiller.1. The choke lever that comes in the kit didn't fit my tiller. I had to use a piece of sandpaper to sand down the post on my old choke lever in order to make it fit and swivel smoothly in the hole in the top of the carburetor.2. The bolt hole on the right side of the carburetor wasn't big enough for the bolt to fit through due to a portion of the bolt being slightly larger than the bolt threads. I had to use a diesel tool to enlarge the hole slightly for the bolt to fit through.

Thought it was going to be great based on original start up. But.....
Thought it was going to be great based on original start up. But, after about 3 minutes running the engine choked down and was chugging. When I checked there was fuel running out of the breather in a stream. After buying another carb from another seller, I found the problem which appears to be industry wide. The gasket provided that goes between the breather housing and the carb (on both purchases) blocks a vital air passage. I was able to salvage the old gasket and then it worked perfectly.

Missing all the extras not as described
This “set” only contained the carburetor and choke parts. It was missing air filters, fuel filter, fuel hose, hose clamps, fuel shut-off valve and the spark plug. Hopefully the replacement will be a complete set. See photosUpdate: they reshipped and sent the wrong/incomplete set a second time. Save yourself the hassle and order from a different vendor

Not bad…you better be handy!
I needed to drill out the flange hole.Had to drill out throttle linkage on carb.Had to use the choke lever from previous card, new one was not even close to fitting. All the above took less than 10 minutes!Tested it and seems to work well. For $15, I can’t complain. An OEM carb will cost $98…!

Good value; slight adjust required
Form: 2 holes in the bolt-on flange (carburetor to engine) one was round; one was oblong. The oblong dimension (short side) did not allow the mounting bolt to pass through; it had to be drilled out, otherwise all else was an exact duplicate of original. Fit: Perfect fit. Function: Once installed the carburetor ran perfectly.
