Whilst the WiFi signal is good, the installation app / software on USB is a bit strange. Luckily once it's setup you're good to go. Held off 5 stars because the plastic housing broke away on the dongle and can't be clicked back on. Seems a bit flimsy, but nothing a bit of superglue can't fix

Have tried many of these WIFI Dongles and this had been the best one. But it does cost more than others but worth it.

I was initially a bit doubtful whether this device would work on my aged Dell Dimension 9200, but hey-ho, I gave it a try. Result? No worries. Worked superbly well. Installation was a breeze - once I'd dug my even older magnifying glass out to read the instructions included in the pack. My word, they are printed in a really Lilliputian-size booklet. Too tiny for my tired old eyes. Here is the trick though. Slip the installation disc into your PC and there you will find a pdf of the full-size user manual ('they' don't tell you that in the Lilliput booklet, I suppose that 'they' would just like to make you suffer a little bit). So 'they' are only getting a four-star rating in the easy-to-install section from me - to make 'them' suffer a tad too.However, a full four stars for this product's quality and performance. Excellent. Buy it with confidence now if this is what you are looking for.

I was apprehensive about buying a USB Wifi stick as I didn't expect to get decent speeds from it, but having had it for a few days now it's been performing great. It's being used upstairs, connecting to a router downstairs where connectivity has historically been poor due to a RSJ that runs through the house. Speed tests are showing ping times of around 15-20ms, which is consistent with my ethernet connected desktop and download speeds of around 160Mbs on a 200Mbs connection.Installation is easy as it simply plugs into a USB 3.0 port with no additional driver requirements for Windows 10.

Plugged the dongle (same size as a usb memory stick) into my 3.0 USB port on an 8 y/old HP windows 10 laptop. It picked up the 5Ghz network without me having to insert the cd, or even read passed the 1st page of the instructions they supplied. Thanks to Hyperoptic (great value, reliable and professional) for installing fibre broadband; I get super quick wireless, up and download speeds.... another room away from where the router is too. This inexpensive dongle (as long as it continues to work ) means I don't have to upgrade the laptop for another year, or so :)

Installation in Windows 11 was simply plug in USB port wait a few seconds and done. I have Full Fibre connection that offered a 500mb for the first month free then reverting to 150mb. While on the 500mb speed I was able to get around 360mb Wi-Fi connection with this device, with around 80% strength from 2 rooms away. Very happy, far better than any Wi-Fi connection I have ever had.

I bought this dongle to use on a desk top PC that has no internal network adaptor. It replaces an existing dongle that was provided with the PC, but was far too slow. This Techkey dongle exceeded my expectations in terms of speed and reliability. It was also simple and quick to install. Being no larger than a thumb drive, and without an antenna to clutter up the place, it's small enough to not be noticed, but very fast and efficient. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a dongle that's small and compact yet powerful.
