Q: I bought this and couldn’t get the key ring and the key fob connected how does it connect together?

Wrap the leather strap around the key and push the chrome bolt through the strap holes and use the circle loop to hold the pin in place.

Q: Does the key fob just slide into the case? If so could it fall out of the case, or is it secured somehow?

The key fob does just slide into the case, as far as the key fob falling out, impossible, the case and key fob go into the key ring.
