XEWEA 26PCS Screw & Bolt Socket Extractor with Left Drill Bit Set

Worked like a prayer! Broken exhaust manifold bolts on a Ram 1500 Hemi are bad enough but I was dreading the extraction, just assuming that it would be a nightmare in the close confines in that wheel well. Fortunately, I had sufficient bolt stem protruding out of the manifold to use the socket extractor. Sprayed with a GOOD penetrating oil and a slight tap with a hammer to make sure it was biting the bolt and it came out as it should. It is also good that these bolts are not a high torque bolt, and the manifold is not threaded. It makes a difference. Working alone, I was unable to video but it worked exactly like the online videos! Imagine that! Thanks for making my life as a poor self mechanic easier and cheaper. Saving about $250/hour is pretty important these days. This kit has already paid for itself 4 times over!

My Polaris Ranger Crew oil drain plug is an aluminum 6mm Allen and it stripped incredibly easily. It took me a decent amount of time and effort, but using the bolt extractor over the round bolt head finally worked. The key is definitely using a hammer to get the extractor to bite the bolt. There's a great YouTube video by Jimthecarguy that shows you how to do this.

The parts all seem to be decent quality, but I haven't used it yet. Hopefully they hold up. My main complaint is that it doesn't come with a tap handle for the easy-outs. I ordered one separately, and surprisingly, it fits in the case without rattling! The sticker that came on the top left corner failed to hold the smaller bolt extractors in place with the case closed, so I replaced it with some plastic I had.

i bought this to fix a broken bolt on the liftgate of a jeep grand cherokee. the bolt was located close to the bottom on one side of a u shaped channel. i needed long drill bits and extractors to work it out. this set had the right size bit and extractor for the job. the dealer quoted 1.3 k for the job. the bolt was just 4 dollars from the internet. this saved me money quite a bit.

This broke the first time my husband used it and of course it’s outside the return window. It’s garbage. Do NOT RECOMMEND!!! Don’t waste your money

I build engines and I've owned a lot of these sets from brand name companies, this set holds up great to any of those. I've used a 1/2 inch impact on these to remove stripped bolts and oil galley plugs. Works every time. No damage to my tools yet either.
