It is pretty quiet, depends how fast you are sewing and what type of surface your machine is on.

Would this machine be suitable for bag making? I sew with faux leather.

It is heavy duty sawing machine so no problem use for leather or faux.

Does the machine come with an extension table?

No, but it may be worth contacting the seller,as it may be an available extra. I bought a generic sewing machine table for mine as it gives room all round, which is much more useful
