This is a great little bar
Gonna be honest here - I'm getting old! With that said, I'm still trying to keep in shape, and barbell curls tend to stress my joints more than I'd like (between almost 40 years of hockey, 25 years of baseball, 10 years of powerlifting...it's not my form, it's my body, unfortunately). This little bar is a great value that fits the bill. The knurling is decent enough - not so flat that it's useless, but also not so sharp and spiky that it hurts the hands. If you're somewhere between beginner (baby soft hands) and a longer-term lifter (good callous development) this bar will be great for you. I don't lift as much or as frequently as I used to, and this bar is perfectly in the middle for comfort, although there should be no reason why anyone can't use it.I've only had it for a few days, so the long-term durability remains to be seen, but the initial impression is it's quite nice. It arrived with the tube it was shipped in missing half of it, yet showed no signs of damage at all, so I'm going to go with this thing is pretty durable!

Great knurling, bearings, and price
This has been a large upgrade over an Olympic barbell for tricep and bicep exercises. The bearings spin well and don't distract from my lifts. I am able to put on rubber bumper plates and still perform the exercises. Plates fit on snug and standard Olympic collars fit tight to where the weight doesn't slide off.I also like the knurling. It is comfortable for my hands, although that is likely subjective. It may be less aggressive knurling if you are doing really heavy weight, but for auxiliary muscle training, I can't imagine people need much more aggressive.

Value for Money with Quality
Length:48 inch.Weight: 19.8 pounds.Sleeve: 2 inch diameter holes, Standard Olympic Weight Plates .Here are points of my thought after using the item for one month:[1] Collars Spinning. [2] Deep Knurling -- good contact and friction for gripping the barbell. [3] Rigid and stable. [4] Slicky Sleeves -- needing clamps to hold tight.I hope this review helps.

Nice bar for home gym
First impressions, this is a really nice curl bar for a home gym at $25! Has medium/aggressive kurling to the grip. No manufacturer identification.Quality looks great, end caps look very similar to other name brand bars. Time will tell, our workout dungeon is in a hvac controlled room, so rust developing isn’t a concern compared to a garage gym. From shopping and comparing, let’s be honest it looks like there are four Chinese manufacturers and everyone just puts their different little stickers on the moderately priced equipment.

Very good
For the price, this is an extremely good curl bar. Very impressed with it. It has become one of my go-to pieces of equipment in my home gym.

Excellent Quality for Price
In short: Get this bar!In Depth: Quality is solid for such a cheap bar. Perfect sleeve size for 2" hole plates. Some bars (2 previously returned to amazon) have a true 2" sleeve which will not accept higher quality plates that are exactly 2" (lower quality plates are usually slightly larger than 2" to accommodate a true 2" sleeve). Max weight seemed to be on the low end, but typically you (I) don't have too much weight on a curl bar anyways

Good bar
Got this for my home gym and it does the job. Very sturdy, holds up weights well. You will need to buy separate stoppers to hold the plates in place, because this bar doesnt come with any.The grip area feels nice, a little coarse but still comfortable enough to hold and lift.
