These are secure, easy enough to do myself but if you are using on a drawer, there's a right way and a wrong way to install it. See pics. The part with the band needs to go on the drawer itself otherwise the band will always be in the way when you try to close it. THE COMPANY SHOULD HAVE THIS ON THE VIDEO SO YOU DON'T WASTE THEM. This is why I took off a star.

My "cabinets" are actually huge drawers, & with the design, it's been impossible to find standard child safety drawer latches that work. These straps are a great option. And since they come in chocolate, they match my cabinet color great & you don't just SEE straps, which I appreciate because I hate that I have to have them at all. They are easy for adults, but do require some practice for one handed use. Highly recommend. One tip, the adjustable side locks permanently... Be sure they are there length you want before locking.

These are the best child locks I have ever seen, and just bought another set. I was referred to them from a mom blog, and I am so glad that I was. The price is great too! They are super easy to install, after watching the video. I delayed putting them on to watch the video thinking that would take a while. The videos only last 30 seconds if that.You can make them as tight as you need, and they hold their strength when someone is trying to open something without unlocking. I like that I can make them tight, so my baby doesn't get his fingers caught and pinched when trying to explore. I also like that you can pick your color, so they don't look so awful. We have them all over our kitchen, desk area, bathroom cabinets, and even on our shower door! I read reviews that they would hold a refrigerator together before I bought them and thought that was crazy.....I could believe it now that I have them!The company is also great, sending their card in the package, emailing you to thank you for your order, received order, and also any questions or problems. I would recommend these locks to anyone that needs them!

These are great! They blend with our cabinets well, hold way better than some other cabinet locks out there, and the adhesive is really good. I don’t think my kiddo will be able to figure them out for a while. My husband had to ask me how to get into the cabinets. They are easy for us to open though, just not too easy for the baby to open. I love them!!Amazon has terrible quality control when items are returned (as I’ve notice from past experiences). The ones I received had two that were already locked on the adjustment piece. I contacted the company that sells these by email and their customer service is fantastic. Sent me a few replacements. This is one great seller!!Update: I have purchased another set of these because they work so well for keeping our curious monkey out of things. I keep finding new places we need them.

So far so good! However I was lazy and did not go to the link provided inside the box for instructions- I wasted about 15 min struggling and getting so frustrated. Then I finally went to the link and it was so simple!Ugh! after I already wasted one and put one on backwards.The brown color is perfect for my brown cabinets and so far my almost 1 year old cannot open them. I was concerned about her pulling the cabinet doors open wide enough to be able to smash her fingers, but they do not. The plastic is flexible enough to tug but not enough so that there is a gap between the two for her to catch her little fingers.I am pleased! :)Thank You so much!

I don't have other products with which to compare, but these work pretty well if not 100%. I purchased them because I have cats who have decided to raid my cabinets to break into bags of dry dog food. They have now twice broken through these locks. Once, the adhesive came away, and the other time, they somehow pulled the tab through its tunnel. Maybe these cats are smarter or stronger than toddlers, but be aware that they may fail when a cat is determined to steal food.

These safety strips do not work as advertised. They are extraordinarily difficult to open once installed, thus rendering the cabinets they’re supposed to secure unusable. And, once I tried to uninstall them (take them off my cabinets) the adhesive removal cause permanent damage to my custom cabinets. I would advise people not to buy this product. As for me, I tried this on two cabinets (thankfully not more) and after one day of not being able to get them open without a tremendous struggle, I removed those two and threw the rest into the trash. What a waste of money!

These were very easy to install, although I heeded others' advice and made sure to watch the very short YouTube video to make sure I did it right the first time. I'm using it for my jewelry case, which was so tough to figure out how to keep my toddler out of the easily-lost earring drawers (but still accessible to me every day). This works perfectly - she hasn't figured out the latches, and the adhesive has stayed put (even though she occasionally tests out those latched drawers) so it does its job. Very happy with my purchase!
